Just back from my 1st trip!

Well, I'm sad it's over, but I had a great time. I got back yesterday from a 5 day trip. I went with one of my best friends, and we did all 4 theme parks, and Typhoon Lagoon. I was totally floored by how light the crowds were. I've been to Disneyland, CA lots of times, and I've never seen so few people in the parks,. We only used fastpass a few times, and even then we didn't really need it. We rode our favorite rides over and over and were able to do and see pretty much everything we wanted to. My favorite ride (that I hadn't already done at DL) was RnRC. I also really liked Buzz Lightyear, Mission Space, The Great Movie Ride, Primeval Whirl, and all the walking trails at AK. The Stitch ride was the only thing I didn't like, but I was expecting that to be bad, anyway .

Glad you had a great trip!Did you get to see the nighttime shows?I still get a little misty-eyed sometimes thinking about the first time I saw Spectromagic.I was at the hub and had no idea what to expect.IT WAS AMAZING!Did you stay on-property?Was WDW bigger than you had imagined?Isn't it GREAT!I hope you have many more fun times at WDW!

I saw Wishes and Fantasmic. I had only caught a small part of the Disneyland version of Fantasmic, so I can't compare, but I LOVED WDW's version. I stayed offsite, and it was a little harder to get around than I expected, but we did aright. I'm hoping to stay onsite for my next trip. I was prepared for WDW to be big, but I was most surprised by how isolated the parks are. The surrounding area is mostly wooded, and it seemed like Disney had it's own highway system.
