Just got home this evening - We had a great trip, stayed at POFQ for first time and loved it - Crowds weren't bad at the beginning of the trip but were definately picking up by Wed - Evening Extra Magic Hours at MK were awful! My advice if you are gong at a crowded time try to aviod the Evening Extra Magic Hours - it was crowded with long waits for the big rides ( Splash Mountain, Space Mountain and Big Thunder) Both Splash and Space broke down that night. Other than that we had a great time and got lots done!! I highly recommend the Family Magic Tour!! It was the highlight of our trip!! I will be posting a trip report sometime this week. Any questions?

I'm missing the world already but DH already told me to start planning another trip for next year - and to go .....DELUXE!!!! :flower:

Glad to hear you had a Good Time. We're getting ready to leave June 1. I'm hoping the crowds just picked up because of it being a holiday weekend. I've went the same time you did before and I know the crowds definatly increased toward the weekend and more at the Mk than any place else. But if not, I will still enjoy myself.

How was the weather? I can't wait to get there! :Pinkbounc

We were there May 21-26 and were at POFQ as well! This was our first time at POFQ and we loved it. As for the parks, we didn't do the EMH at MK on Wednesday -- we opted for using the non-EMH park strategy and went to MK on Tuesday. I'll be looking forward to your trip report to compare your notes with mine!

Ahhh you have a great DH!!!! I hope mine keeps his word and lets me start planning again once we get back. He says we will go back, as early as Dec or MArch....somehow I am a little skeptical, once the pixie dust wears off he starts being REALISTIC.

I hate that word.....

We've gone in June on our previous trips and it is crowded but if you have a plan you can get things done without much trouble. The beginning of June is much better than the end of June from what I hear.

The weather was great - there were a couple days that it clouded up and it looked like rain but it just passed us over - no rain the whole week we were there. It was hot but the humidity wasn't bad until the end of the week. We did alot of the early morning stuff and then took afternoon swim breaks for the kids :flower:

I hope that you have great weather for your trip too! Have fun!!

Oh Cool! Maybe we ran into each other and didn't know it - LOL I didn't meet any disers this trip but I wore my Lime Green however when you are busy with the family trying to get things done sometimes you forget to look for others wearing lime green. On Wed we spent most of the day at MGM then hoped over to MK for the evening EMH, I was really weary about the MK Evening EMH but the kids loved E nights last year and they wanted to try it - so we learned our lesson to avoid it during busy times - We did well with our parks the rest of the week and got lots of things in and tried lots of new stuff :flower:

LOL - I hear ya! I am hoping that he remembers what he said when the planning starts - LOL Though I think he really wants the Deluxe cause he hates sharing the double beds - LOL I'll just start reminding him of the small double beds when I start planning - LOL I don't think I will ever get him to go more than once a year so I am not pushing it - but I would love to go in Dec - Have fun if you go back then!! :earsgirl:

Thanks for the report. I'm glad you enjoyed the family magic tour, we'll be doing it on our next trip in August.

Do you know if they allow strollers? I have heard conflicting reports on this. The only reason I ask is our DS will be 15 months at the time, he can walk but not all the way around the park. I was hoping one of us could follow along pushing him in the stroller, but I don't want to mess things up for the others.

Oh, one more question, approx. how many people do they take on the tour at a time?

TIA

The Family Magic tour was AWESOME!!! You will love it! When I called to make reservations they told me that it was limited to 20 people. We had 15 on our tour - 7 kids and 8 adults. I'm not sure about the strollers - the youngest in our group was probably 6 - the kids in our group ranged from 6-12 and we went all over the park and they all kept up with the group really well and our tour guide "Dan" was wonderful at keeping everyone together and getting us were we needed to be. The parents on our tour were all great too, they all really got into the tour and did all the fun stuff with the kids! It was really fun and Peter Pan and Wendy were GREAT! It was definately one of the best things that we did all week!! You will love it!! :flower:
