Just Back From Kidani

This was our first stay here & we had a GV. While the room & layout was great not to mention the view but whoever designed the bldg did a horrible job. We were on the 4th fl rm# 7880. This was allllllll the way down the hallway one room from the end. In total it was a 5 minute walk from the lobby. We felt like we were in the Twilight Zone with the never ending hallway. It wasn't much of a walk if you were coming from the pool. Which by the way was great. We spent our first day there relaxing & drinking....lol.
We did see alot of animals in the savanna @ all times of the day. We did eat @ Sanaa which was just ok plus, we walked over to Jambo House & ate @ Mara's which we could have done without but a friend of our's is named after the restaurant so we decided to check it out....lol.
I was disapointed in the park decorations. Guess I was expecting more. They really seemed to be lacking...just imo.
The Osbourne Lights all I can say is 'WOW" this was awesome! We all loved it. As a matter of fact we stayed to watch it like 3 or 4 times....lol
The crowds were out of control. The crowds were crazy.
We didn't have any problems with the bus. The longest we might have waited was 5 minutes except for last night. We stayed to see "Wishes" then took the bus to the BW & walked over to Epcot to watch Illuminatons....
All in all we had a great time & really great weather.

Your room location sounds exactly like a room we had at AKL once -- really really far from the lobby. But great for viewing the animals on the savannah.

Lots of Disney resorts have wings with rooms that seem very far from the lobby, so I wouldn't say that's unique to Kidani.

I didn't bother to take any but my friend took a lot. As soon as she sends them to me I'll post them.

We were also on the 4th floor last Saturday for 1 night in a Savannah Studio. We loved it there, but joked about how far we were from the lobby. We actually walked from our room (can't remember the number off hand) all the way to Jambo for dinner and drinks and it was a hike! We loved the views though, got lots of animals all over the place. We have a grand villa at jambo planned for April so I am very much looking forward to it! We are still here at the world in VWL and are loving our stay. I didn't think the crowds were too bad until today. Tomorrow I hear is going to be a nightmare.
