My family and I spent friday and saturday at IOA/Universal. The weather was lousy but we had a blast. The longest wait we had was by choice. The Terminator 3-d, which begins on the hour, had a 25 minute wait. We walked onto the Hulk 5 times and spent 15 minutes waiting in line to ride the Ice coaster and then waited 3 minutes to be seated of the fire coaster at the Dueling Dragons. My son (10 and just riding coasters) raode the Flying Unicorn 7 times in a row because there wwas no line, no waiting.
We rode MIB four times in a row.
My daughter found Universal a bit boring. She is more thrill ride oriented. The Woody Wood Pecker coaster was a hoot. Great for little kids. The only ride I was disappointed was ET. I had never been on it and thought it was kinda dumb.
I am unsure if the weather, time of year or the fact it is race week in Daytona accounted for the lack of crowds.
All in all a very enjoyable two days.

We didn't stay at the Lowes Hotels because I just couldn't justify the expense for such a short trip. The fromt line access wasn't needed because of the light attendance. I am hoping to stay at Pacific Ryal or PortaFino some day.
Oh, while having dinner at TGIF across the street from Universal, our waiter says he works for Universal Entertainement. He says there is a indoor roller coater going up (that is the rumor he said near Nichlodeaon Studios) Interesting.
