Just back from HRH upgrades abound!!!

We checked in last friday at the HRH and were upgraded to a kids suite!!! We booked standard and confirmed a deluxe as we are gold and were given a kidsuite. This is our second suite upgrade at HRH. My kids just love that suite. This is still my favorite Universdal resort, but the rooms are showing some wear and tear. Our other upgrade was on the tickets. I bought 5 power annual passes and the woman issuing the tkts made so many mistakes that she gave us the PREFERRED annuals for the same price. Gotta love that.

Just booked again for May.

That's a huge upgrade getting Preferred passes because now you can renew them for $99 next year and visit in the summer with no black out dates.
Yes, summer time has more crowds, but the parks stay open until 10pm, and you get to see fireworks. Plus everyone can use their card to get discounts at shops/restaurants and food stands. Doesn't seem like a big deal, but if you split up from the kids, they can flash their card and get the discounts.

I'm hoping for an upgrade to a King Suite when DH and I are at HRH next month. We are loews plat. We are booked into a pool view at the moment. The front desk says to give a call when our date is closer to see if we can get the upgrade.
