Just back from Hilton Downtown Disney

We just got back from our 7 night stay at the HH. We got a Priceline rate for $60.00 per night. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel again this year. (Also stayed in 2002 through Priceline.)

When we checked in I asked for a room facing DD, and we got it! Every night we could watch the 9:00p.m. fireworks from Epcot, and watch the 12:00a.m. fireworks from Pleasure Island. The room is adequate for 4 people, I don't know about 5, especially on a long stay. I wasn't very happy with the bathroom, needed some refurbishment, but, wasn't bad enough to ruin my trip.

We walked right accross the street to Downtown Disney a couple nights, now that the construction is done, it's alot easier to cross.

The pool was nice, especially at night and early in the morning it was very warm.

We only at at Benihana's, had a great meal. We bought a few items from the market, but, that's about it.

Wow! That's a great rate and review I'm thinking of staying at one of the DTD hotels. I'm glad to hear the construction is done, I remember it was a little messy the last time I was there.

We also will be staying at the Hilton in DD on a priceline bid for 7 nights at $60. I was wondering if you had signed up for their HH card and used it. We signed up for it and just received it yesterday. We were hoping to to get upgraded to a junior suite or something else.

How early would they let you check into the hotel.

We'll probably spend some time at the pool after some long days at the parks. Were they very crowded?

We didn't sign up for the HH honors program, I heard through reading this board that you couldn't get points for staying with a reservation through Priceline, but, I could be wrong.

We actually got to the hotel aroung 5:30p.m. because of all the traffic, so we didn't get to check in early.

The pool wasn't crowded at all. Actually there is 2 pools, a small kiddie pool and whirlpool. We didn't have a problem finding a chair on any of the days we were down there.
