Just Back From Fabulous Trip

I just returned today from a wonderful trip to WDW - our first family trip, DH, myself, DS3 and DS10. We stayed at the WL and were in awe of the beauty of that place. We hit all the parks and were surprised that the crowds were not as bad as we thought they would be. We would go to the parks until mid afternoon and return around dinner time. We walked on to a lot of rides at MK. DS3 turned 4 today and we celebrated Thursday at Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. Both were wonderful! He also received balloons and a card from Pooh at our hotel. We were on the dining plan and had more than enough food for the 4 of us. Thanks to all the DIS members who gave SO MANY helpful hints to make our vacation truly magical.

My friend, here on the boards, just returned from Disney. She told me that her stay at WL was incredible. She said the decor was beautiful and the overall experience was wonderful. I rejected it when I first started planning my trip because I thought maybe it was too dark or wilderness like, maybe we'll book it for our next trip. I'm glad you had a wonderful time!

The pool was beautiful. Unfortunately, we only got to go to it one evening and about ten minutes later a thunderstorm came up and the lifeguard closed the pool. Oh well, we still very much enjoyed our stay there.
