I have to stress our hotel choice because it made the whole trip for us. Never having stayed on the monorail before, it was like night and day from staying at Wilderness Homes and Dixie Landing as we had done previously. A short walk from our room to the TTC and we had monorail to MK and Epcot and buses to MGM, Animal Kindgom and Downtown Disney at our disposal. The best part of all, the weather was great (high 60s and 70s, one day I think it got to 80) and we practically walked on to every ride all week. Five to ten minute wait at the most with the exception of Test Track at Epcot where we got a FastPass. Will never go any other time but the end of January again. A couple of the best things that we did... Disney Quest - a must see. Five floors of video games and virtual reality games. All free. For those with a length of stay pass, Disney Quest (which is usually $25 to get in) is included in your pass. Don't pass it up. Also, cheesecake factory is inside. Another great thing we did was to use our Pool Hooper pass from the Polynesian to go over to Storm Along Bay at the Yacht/Beach Club. Brought our bathing suits to Epcot one day and took an afternoon break by boating over (boat dock located next to France) to the Yacht/Beach Club for lunch and a swim. What a pool. Huge pirate ship slide, hot tubs, whirlpools, bridges. Took the boat back over to Epcot afterwards to do World Showcase. Put the kids in the Neverland Club one evening and had an adult dinner at the California Grill in the Contemporary. Kids loved it. Rented a pontoon boat (seats 10) for the five of us for a half hour on our last morning and just cruised around the Seven Seas and Bay Lake. Had some great meals; character meals at Animal Kingdom and Cindy's Castle. One of our best meals was at the Big River Grill and Brewery on the Boardwalk. The Hoop Dee Doo was another favorite. Our worst meal was at Sci-Fi in MGM and at Alfredo's in Epcot's Italy. Our 7 day agenda consisted of Day 1-MGM, Day 2-Magic Kindgom, Day 3-Animal Kingdom, Day 4-Epcot, Day 5-MGM, Day 6-Magic Kingdom and relaxing at the hotel on the last day.

Sounds like a fun filled Disney trip for all. Thanks for posting!

ckpan, Thanks for the trip report.

I always like to read about Poly Trips, we are schedule to stay here in December of 2001. Have never stayed on a monorail line resort. Like to know what people have to say about their stay here.
