We stayed at the Dolphin over the weekend, and it was fantastic as usual!

We had room 9023 - balcony overlooking Epcot. The view was wonderful! Our floor had new carpet & paint in the hallways and looked very nice! They kept the colors and theming, but there are no more beach pictures painted on the walls. It's very tasteful and pretty!

Our room seemed a little smaller than the same room we've had down on the fifth floor before, but maybe it was my imagination. The beds were "heavenly" and we slept great!

We tried Fresh one morning for breakfast and loved it! Will definitely go back there again!

Any questions?

I'm glad you had a nice trip. I fell in love with the Dolphin last June, it's a beautiful resort. :sunny:

I'm happy to hear you had a great trip. We stayed at the Swan last year and absolutely loved it and as you can see, it's where we are going again.

Stop telling everyone how great the Dolphin is! The secret will be out!

Just kidding as we LOVE the Dolphin and tell all of our friends!

Glad you had a great trip!

Glad to read of your recent stay at the Dolphin! :goodvibes Your room was on the top floor/far end of that wing, offering a fab view from the balcony! One of our favorite rooms is just below a bit...in the same area. It just doesn't get much better than this! :cloud9:

FRESH is a great place to dine!! We loved it too.

Enjoy planning your next visit to the MAGIC, and WDW!

:wave2:

Can I ask how much you paid per night ?

We'd love to stay there but the prices are to high for us.

Thanks!!

I also stayed in 9023 several weeks ago and it was the nicest location and view
Worth the rather long walk down the hall from the elevator. We could see the Epcot fireworks and torches around the lake as well as here the music. I will request this area in the future for sure. We booked $159.00 and used 1000 starwood points to upgrade to a balcony room and have access to the club on the 14th floor. It was a bit of a walk to get to the club to get snacks but I borrowed a tray to make it a little easier to carry everything back in the mornings. What a great stay we had .

Thanks for the review! DH and I have stayed at the Dolphin twice (October and December of last year) and we loved it.

You can actually buy the Heavenly Beds on line, and they're not that expensive! (I want to say $1300). We would buy one if we didn't have to get it up a spiral staircase. ;) The beds are truly the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on at a hotel.

We booked through Travelocity both times and paid $139/night including all taxes and fees (great deal!) in October, and $149 or$159/night (can't remember)PLUS taxes and fees in December.

FLORIDAFUNFAMILY - Did you upgrade with your points at check-in or 5 days prior? Thanks.
