We had a fantastic trip and I wanted to thank everyone here for all the great travel tips! We had perfect weather and the parks were not very crowded. I don't think we waited more than 20 minutes for any ride (though we skipped some of the popular ones like Nemo).

I will post a trip report when I have more time, probably this weekend. :)

20 minutes for NEMO? wow, I was there Tuesday and the normal wait was 45-60 mins!Your lucky:banana:

We came back sat night...We also skipped Nemo! Just didn't want to wait in a line that long...

We had a blast!

Sorry, Greg, I think I was unclear. We skipped Nemo because it had a 45-60 min. wait the whole time and that didn't seem like a good idea with a 2.5 year old. But everything else, including Indiana Jones, Big Thunder Mountain, etc. seemed to be 20 min. or less most of the time. We barely used FP at all because the lines were so short.

DCA was even less crowded. The longest line I saw was 30 min. for Soarin' right in the middle of the afternoon. My husband and I used the single rider line though, taking turns staying with out son, and that was about 10 min. Tower of Terror was 13 min. (but really more like 10). All of the Bug's Land ride were basically no wait.

Wow -we were there all week and must have just hit TOT at the wrong time. Every time we went over there (3-4 times per day for 5 days) it was an hour wait -so we got a fast pass.

TOT and Space Mt and Splash Mtn were the longest lines for us ... but we still rode them a bunch!

Plus, Monday morning straight-away we headed to Nemo when we entered the park and got it with a 15 minute wait!!

Yea! I'm glad ya'll had fun but I'm sorry for you that your trip is over. I know coming back from our Feb trip was rough because I felt like I didn't get enough DL time, even though the trip was 5 days - including travel days. I'm sure you'll be planning your next trip very soon if you haven't started already! I've been planning away even though I can't possibly afford it :lmao:

What I had posted, but then edited, was that I am already thinking of our next trip. It will likely be to Florida though because flights are cheaper to Orlando from where we live. Maybe January of 2009, depending on how the finances shake out.

Edited because my computer hiccuped and posted multiple replies!

Can't wait to hear how it all went! Sounds like the best of conditions, with good weather and low crowds. I agree with Jenn1116, the best way to battle the post DL blues is to get to planning the next trip...:lmao:

We were in the parks Mon. and Tues. (DTD on SUN). Great time! Great weather, reasonable crowds. They felt busy, walkways were busy, but lines were'nt bad.
At rope drop on Mon, went straight to Nemo (along with everyone else:goodvibes ) waited about 40 min., but line never seemed any shorter than that, and it moved steady. Many rides were walk ons...loved that.;) They were shouting for people to get on JC on tues afternoon! No wait. We avoided many of the popular rides because we had DGD 15mos. along with. Skipped SplM, 60min standby on tues. PoC was walk on, IJ, was 15 to 25min. standb, but we used FP and childswap. Worked great. Peter Pan, always the same anytime I go, about 15-20min. No wait at any restrants/counter serve.
It felt as though they expected a huge crowd, so all rides were running at full cap.
Had fun and thought it was a great date to go.
