Well, we returned from Disney late Friday evening and despite a nasty stomach flu for 3 of our members down there on Thanskgiving and 3 of us Saturday the trip was great! The lines Friday through Sunday were GREAT!!!! and we had a great time.

We did Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on the 19th and when we arrived I was worried because it was sold out and from reading the posts here I thought "Oh NO! It'll be wall to wall crowds!!!!". Well, I couldn't have been more wrong!!! We arrived about 4:30ish and went to eat then went straight to adventureland starting at The Jungle Cruise working our way around to Tomorrowland and our longest wait I think was like 10 minutes! My girls even road Thunder Mountain 2 times straight!!! Now the parade (we decided to go to the first one) was very crowded but we ended up trying to get where when it was over we could get to tomorrowland so we ended up (after watching part of the parade in Frontierland) stopping by Casey's to get a drink while we waited for the parade to clear. We found, if it's not that important for you to get a front row seat this is a GREAT place to watch it because we just sat there and the floats were easy to see!!! Also when we got off of Space Mountain we watched the fireworks from there beside the Indy Speedway and it was empty and beautiful! We also got to see Tinkerbell for the first time!!! The shows were great and the crowds were even better! The hot chocolate was great to help with the cool weather also! It was REALLY worth the money we put out for it!

Is the parade only once during the MVMCP - or are there 2 showings?

We'll be there Dec. 5th - trying to decide the best place to grab a spot for viewing.

Thanks!:)

Sounds like you had a wonderful trip! What kinda of things were they selling, that had to do with MVMCP?

I have heard that is best to go to the last parade of the night( there a 2 parades a night), as it is not as packed. And you will be able to find a good spot to sit and watch it.

We leave in 8 more days, can't wait!!!!!

Yes they had 2 parades one around 8:40 and the other around 11:40 we had first planned to go to the later one however since we had been on the road since about 6 that morning and had ridden everything except the things in Tomorrowland we decided to go to the 8:40 parade since we probably wouldn't have made it to the 11:40 one (we ended up leaving somewhere around 11:00). Like I said the 8:40 was crowded but if you don't mind not being on the front row the Casey's resturant (right across the street from the ice cream parlor). There were I think pins that you could buy and t-shirts and my youngest daughter bought a cute striped Santa hat with a charm on the end) She started to buy a plain Minnie Santa hat but the girl waiting on us hinted that we should wait till after 7 and I'm glad we did!

Thanks for the info... :Pinkbounc :cool1: Just printed it off..I will be there on the 5th...first time..cannot wait!!!

I'm so glad you had a great time!!! :) I love MVMCP (actually, that's where we got engaged 3 years ago!) and your report made me even more anxious to get to WDW and MVMCP!

Yes, we saw the "Mickey's Night Before Christmas" and it was very good. But be forwarded it is outside (In is it the Galaxy Theater?) (we found a hidden mickey in the spotlights) and very cold so if you bring a blanket it would come in handy! We didn't see the other show due to how crowded it was in the circle around the castle but MNBC is NOT to be missed!!!

Sorry about messing up the time of the parades everyone. I'm glad someone corrected me!
