hi. welcome back i love csr and can hardly wait to go back this may. hope you had a great trip. how did you like it in comparison to the other moderates you have stayed at? i think i might like to try PO or CB in the future, but i enjoyed CSR so much i'm afraid i might be dissappointed if i tried the others.

I sooo loved this resort that I will definately be going back. I usually will go to cbr if I have a choice in moderates but this time we chose to stay here because of cbr and cheerleading comp. I cant believe I waited so long! It is truly that beautiful! The food court has better food and the pool is so big you dont feel crowded. The scenery is so pretty and you dont walk too far in the casitas part that you dont walk up on a beautiful water fountain. The service is nice and you really dont get the feel of it being a convention resort. Not like we did when we stayed at the dolphin anyways. If you love to go to the main pool and you love to lie in hammocks then request the cabanas area. The gift shop is big and got neat stuff, not just disney mania. Anyways, hope this helps and I just know I'm leaving off something.... if so... just ask

Do they serve drinks around the pool or do you have to go find your own?

They have a great pool bar right there!!!! They also serve some food, too. The playground is also at the pool. This is a GREAT POOL AREA!!!!! HUGE HOT TUB!!

One other thing-- this resort feels very deluxy-like the whole resort is screaming, "Who took my balconies?!!!!"

It won't do much good... the ridership just wasnt there... It's not coming back.

Hi everyone,

I've been posting for the past few days looking for recommendations on a short trip stay. We originally booked CBR & AKL, but I see POR is REALLY nice too AND NOW CSR LOOKS REALLY NICE TOO! It looks like a really quiet resort and that is definetly what we're looking for since this trip will be short

What room do you recomend just for us relax, we probably want to be near the pool or hot tub...distance to the entrance/bus doesn't really matter, we'll probably hang out at the resort most of the day anyway...

any room suggestions for CSR? Thanks for any info!

Tyler - your bumming me out. That was one of the best kept secrets. That's probably why the ridership didn't justify maintaining the run. Oh well, I'll continue to write anyway. I'll be there in 3 weeks!

so how do we get there?

CSR to MGM. Then walk or take the boat. Not sure if you can still take the DtD bus to the BW from CSR. Hopefuly Tyler will chime in about that.

I would ask for the cabanas they are really nice and quiet ( so it seemed to me) and they have the hammocks to just chill out in on the beach area!

Thanks for the tip, that's exactly what we're looking for, somewhere to just chill out and relax! Are these Cabana's a different rate? Or are they also standard?

The cabanas are standard rooms, just like the two other sections, casitas and ranchos. Everyone seems to have his/her own favorite section. That inspires a separate thread I think I'll have to start!
