Just back from Cirque - it was an incredible show that I recommend to everyone! I could've watched it all night :hyper:
and the kids loved it. I know it's pricey, but well, well worth it. Any questions I'll try to help.

We're going in September and are soooo excited about seeing Cirque du Soleil! We're going to the 6 o'clock show. How early do you recommend we actually arrive? I've heard there is a "pre-show," what does that entail exactly? Was there an intermission?

Cirque definitely was a highlight of our last trip.

acmy: The pre-show we saw consisted of a couple of the clowns doing a routine with a stack of boxes that takes them around a few of the aisles and then on to the stage. At one point, they were in the crowd pretending to seat people and led one family onto the stage to their "seats." It was pretty darn funny and it makes getting there early all the more worthwhile.

Think the little preshow starts 15-20 minutes beforehand :). Will be there to see it again in 7 days- can't wait....WOOOOHOOOOO

We are going to cirque june 19th for the 1st time! cant wait. We are sitting in Section 104 Row 4. I've been reading some of the posts on cirque and I'm a little worried that we are too close to the stage - I thought i was booking great seats at the time. :(

I've also heard there a no bad seats.

Will we miss alot of the show being so close? The kids are really excited and i would hate for this to ruin it for them.

Marijeff- Where were your seats? I can call tomorrow for my reservations for Nov. 30th. I am planning to ask for section 204. Any recomendations?

We went to Cirque last January and loved it!! Our seats were in Section 104, Row 1. Very up close and personal!! But everyone's right when they say there are no bad seats. There's so much action going on that you can see it from anywhere. Next time I'd get a seat higher up, but not because of the view, just because I think a change in perspective would be nice. We picked up our tickets from the box office and they mentioned that they begin seating 30 - 45 minutes before the show (can't remember which). We showed up then and had time to get some popcorn and soda and settle into our seats to watch the preshow. Very cute!!

Our seats were in section 102, 3rd row from the stage. We had the first 4 seats to the left of the stage. I do think that all the seats would be ok, but I would've preferred something a bit higher and more centered(like section 204). For the trapeze and high wire we had to bend our heads pretty far back, but on the other hand, we got to see the performers up close. Also, the bicycle guys ride right at the audience and stop just before crashing into them. It was fun. Wait til you see the little girls with the wooden spools. They were incredible. DSs 10, 8 had no trouble seeing any of the show.

We got there one hour before the show to pick up our tickets (5pm). They didnt open the doors until 5:30, then we got popcorn and drinks too and the clowns started 15 min or so later. My favorite part was the end where all the tumbling is. The way they climb the walls of the building and jump through the windows was amazing. There is so much to see! In the beginning there is darkness with thunder and lightening and it's sort of a haunted house theme. It startled us at first! I would go back again and again. We were surprised that there were many seats still available. I had previously read that you should try to wear something a bit nicer than the usual summer clothes, but everyone at our show was dressed in shorts and the usual t-shirt.

Don't forget to take the time to notice the two singers and the band members off to the sides in the scaffolding. Too cool!

Every single time we go we vow to go to Cirque. Never have. But, we're going in July. Can't wait!!

I've never heard one single negative report or heard one person say it wasn't worth the money.

Dh wanted to go during our April stay at WDW and I talked him out of it.....after hearing so many good reports, I plan to get tickets to surprise him when we're visiting next April.

We saw it in February and it was awesome! We were towards the front of section 204 which I thought was perfect, but I don't think any of the seats would be bad really. The preshow was very funny, don't miss it--it also gives you some time to sit and relax before the show starts.

I didn't notice the musicians until halfway through the show, they are incredible! ::yes::

I just ordered my tickets for Cirque today. I got section 205 row HH. I didn't want to be in the lower sections after hearing so many comments about people spending most of the show looking up. Do you think row HH is too high up? I hope not. I 'm taking my parents to the show as a combined Mother's/Father's day gift. I have an AP, so I got 25% off each ticket. Gotta love that, it made the show "affordable". I can't wait!!

We saw the show for the first time in May. It was awsome! I don't think I would spend the money again, but I'm glad that we did it.

We sat in Sec. 204, Row HH, Seat 1 & 2. They were great! Not to high. You could see everything that was going on and most of it was at eye level.

Enjoy!

I ordered my tickets for La Nouba today- got exactly what I asked for, section 204 AA seats 1 and 2. The system was down when I started at 7:15, so I kept calling back every 10-20 min. At 8:35 they were finally up and running, however the woman put me on hold 5 times before finally saying "I got you the seats you want!" It took her about 20 minutes in all- I'm not quite sure what that was all about, but I sure am happy!!!!!!!! Nov. 30th, 6 pm- any other Diser's call for the same show today?

There were indeed problems with the system today. I tried to get my tickets for Dec. 2 and between the system being down and CIrque not downloading the December schedule yet, I must wait until tomorrow. And yes, today is exactly 180 days until Dec. 2, so it is the usual "programmer error" on the reservation end. Oh well, I guess I know who I will be calling while driving into work.

Got our tickets for our third time to cirque in October. We love this show. Have always sat in the section right above the aisle. Perfect view and no neck cramps!

You said you kids loved it. How old were they. Thinking of bringing mine to see it, but they are 9 and 4 1/2 y/o. Is this too young?? Would the show keep their attention? Thanks

My GF took her kids last October-exact same age as yours!

They had front row seats-with a soda and popcorn they had no problem-her kids just loved it! Still talk about it (more so than other WDW attractions) now! The only other thing I hear about more is the pool at POFQ!

9 and 4 1/2 would be fine. Mine were 7 and 10. Don't worry about them getting bored - it is a solid action packed 90 minutes (no intermission) usually with several different things on the stage at once!:hyper:

We took my DD last year when she was 5. We had taken her to other shows, like Beauty and the Beast the Musical, Blues Clues Live, and the Circus, and every time she would get restless and ask when it would be over. Not at La Nouba. She spent the whole 90 minutes absolutely mesmerized! She sat there wide eyed and didn't make a peep until the end when she asked me, "Mommy, is it over already?". We saw it at the beginning of our trip and she spent the whole time asking to go back to the "circus". So, when we were there this year, we took her again. I thought she might be bored since she had already seen it, but no! She was completely absorbed by the experience all over again. It's a wonderful show, and I definitely recommend it for kids!
