Just Back from BWV

Hi, we just got home from 1 week in a 1 Br standard view at our home Boardwalk Villas. Had a great week, but it was much hotter than normal! Our unit was 3103, in great shape about 1/3 to 1/2 of the way down the hall from elevators. We arrived on Sunday May 5th at around 10:45 AM and they had this room available!! We were very excited to be able to get into the room right away!

We went over to the Beach Club a couple times, most recently this morning (May 12th) and the construction fencing was gone this morning. We were able to walk into one area because there was only a small fence in front of the side walk but not around the grassy area. This was the back portion, against the hotel, we were walking in on the side walk that goes around the edges of the Beach Club Resort (closest to Epcot) and it ended at this spot. There is a beautiful statue of Ariel in one area (the smallest side that faces valet parking and the Beach Club hotel.) I got some pictures with our digital camera that I will get posted as soon as I can. I could just bearly see the quiet pool, but the lanscaping is all done.

Our trip was wonderful, took a friend who has not been since she was a little girl, now also an addict!!

Welcome back and I'm glad you had a great trip! Thanks for the look-see at the BCV...Just one question, what kind of view did you get with room 3103 (i know it was a standard view), thanks.

We could see the drive up (Valet area) and had a tree both to the right and left of our balcony. I could see a small protion of the pond at the end of the standard views, but could only hear the fountian in the pond (it was behind the tree to the right). We could defenetly see some fire works from Epcot also, but none from MGM. I am not sure that we saw all of the fireworks that someone farther down the hall may have seen, but enjoyed what we could see several evenings. I would have prefered to be a little farther down so we could see the pond better, or even around the corner where we could see the water way would have been great! But, having a room ready at arrival was worth taking what they had!
By the way, the only request we made for this trip was non-smoking. I thought about requesting close to tennis courts, but I forgot.
