Just returned from our 1st DVC use! We stayed at BLT on the 16th floor, room 8605. Its a 2 bedroom dedicated lake view. WOW! The view was amazing. We could see the pool, the lake, Epcot, the Electric Light Parade. It was fantastic. Also got a rather unpleasant view of a man naked on his balcony...:scared1:

The room was great, but yes its definitely taking its toll. The fridge was dinged, and the furniture had lots of nicks...sad since it hasn't been open that long. But I really have no complaints about the room because it was great having so much room. My 6 year old couldn't reach the sink so we had to push a chair up to it so she could brush her teeth..but thats about it.

Yes its a walk to get to the monorail and food but who couldn't use a little more exercise!

We didn't use the buses so can't comment on that.

We had AMAZING Disney magic when we were there. We got picked for the family of the day at Magic Kingdom and a few days later my husband and kids got picked for the family of the day at Epcot to ride in the test track car. My girls also got to be honorary princesses for the day at Cinderella's Castle and got to go into the castle and lead everyone up the stairs. All of this was totally unexpected!

We didn't really encounter any rudeness, maybe a grouchy CM here and there but nothing like others have seen!

We had a great trip and can't wait to go back.

Oh we also spent 1 night at Kidani village. I LOVED the rooms there, but didn't like being so far from everything (parks, counter service food, etc).

Will try to figure out how to post pictures of the room!

Sounds like a wonderful trip! I can't wait to see pictures of your view - it sounds fabulous.

Ha HA! No pictures of him...although I swore if I saw him out there daily I was calling down to front desk.

My kids even saw him when he stood up to go inside. I think he was only on the 5th floor so I'm sure many people got a glance at him! YUCK!

Wow, you really did have the magic flowing!
What is the princesses leading the way up the stairs thing? I haven't heard of that before.

We had reservations for 8:05 for Cinderella's Royal Table. We checked in, and after a few minutes, a CM asked our girls (6 & 8) if they would like to lead everyone upstairs. So we were brought in to he waiting area, and got the picture with Cinderella before they let anyone else in. Then, after our pictures, they let he others in, made a 'Royal Proclamation' that the girls would be leading everyone upstairs.

We were second to get the other princesses to visit our table, but my guess is that is due to there being 6 of us. The first table was right next to us but set for a party of four.

The girls loved it.
