Just returned last night after 5 nights at BCV in a studio. We had a wonderful stay, and it was soooo hard to leave.

We checked in at about 10:45 PM on Wed. night. Checkin went smoothly. The CM was very helpful and cheerful. In fact, all the CMs we encountered during our stay were friendly and helpful. We got room #566, which turned out to be kind of an interesting room.

Pros - Larger than usual balcony, 2 closets in the studio because of how the room was configured, nice view of quiet pool and canal, room was in good repair. :D

Cons - Not close to main elevators, but a little too close to the other elevator! We were right next door to the elevator shaft, so we heard the elevator "motor" start and stop every time the elevator was used. We got used to it after a couple days, but it sure made us aware of how often the elevators get used both day and night. :p

I fall in love with BCV's location all over again each time I stay there. I'm so glad it's one of my home resorts. :D

Glad you had a wonderful stay. I can't wait until we get to go in June!

Thanks for sharing! I have often read about these elevator rooms and how loud they are. We have yet to receive one thankfully. :)

We were in that very room in December .... ohh to be back at WDW :D

Sounds like you had a wonderful vacation! Thank you for posting!:)

Hi: I rented points from an owner for our stay there in October. We've never stayed at the Beach Club (or anywhere near there). How long does it take to walk to EPCOT? We'e EPCOT nuts so we thought this would be the best spot. And up until recently I knew nothing about renting points. Thanks!

We used the little back path out of the BCV to get to Epcot. it brought us right around to just before the bridge over to Boardwalk. All in all it took us maybe 8 minutes to walk. A very nice leisurely pace. We also rented points and it was our first stay at the Epcot resorts and only our second stay at a deluxe. It was great! We are renting points for another BCV stay this December. This is now our favorite resort!

Hi,

Glad you had a good time!!!!

Russell - Depending on your location within the resort, and pace of walking, I'd say it would take 5-10 min. It is awesome! If you're an Epcot fan, you will LOVE the Beach Club location! :D

We've stayed in 466, which is a one bedroom and it didn't bother us at all to have the elevator noise. Yes, we could hear it in the livingroom area, but it didn't seem that bad to me....maybe I am noise tolerant!
