just back from BCV

Hi all - just back from our first trip home to BCV. Had a fantastic time as always and we absolutely loved BCV. Will post a trip report later but just to let you know BCV was perfect!

We had room 453 (2BR dedicated) which had a great view of Epcot Ball and we could see both Illuminations and DD fireworks (and one night we actually saw the rehearsal for Epcots New Year Eve fireworks!) this room did overlook the road and I found it a little noisy, but to see the fireworks from the balcony a couple of times (most of the time we weren't home to see) more than made up for the car noise!

Room was in great shape, water pressure in second bedroom was poor and we did play around with the thermostat quite often but these items were nothing to what I was dreading after reading some less than stellar reviews here.

We moved to a 1 BR last night (long story - stuck in snowstorm at the beginning of trip so we extended one day) and had room 472 which was over the canal and the pool. This was also very nice.

Can't wait to go back!

Our home resort is Beach Club and we love it. Glad to see you had a nice time. Can't wait to see your trip report.

We are going back to Beach Club in August and then we are off on a Disney Cruise. I am sure everything is beautiful at Christmas time!

I learn something new everytime I read these boards, Kathy! I never knew you could see the Downtown Disney fireworks from the BCV. What fun you must have had watching the New Year's Eve rehearsal! Years ago we watched rehearsals for the MVMCP from the Contemporary, and it's something you never forget.
