Just back from BCV

We just returned from 7 nights at BCV. We had a GREAT stay in a 1 bedroom. We checked in on 12/2 around 12:30 and our first hit of pixie dust hit us, our room was ready Our room was 209, it was in great shape and just off the elevator. All the castmembers we ran into were great. The weather was just fantastic all week. Any questions feel free to ask.

The only thing that shocked me was that the magic bands actually worked!

Did you think the resort was generally in good shape? We love BCV!

They did have the same sofabed. My 4 year old loved it and was sad to leave it. Then again, she only weighs 38 pounds.

The resort seemed in great shape to me. We didn't have to walk down any of the long halls so I can't really comment on the hall carpets. Our room itself was in good shape and nothing seemed to be missing. Mousekeeping did a good job for us as well, lots of towel animals and she set up our daughters toys in funny ways.

Haha! We were across the hall from you in 208 from 12/1-12/8! The weather was a bit warmer than I was hoping for in December, but it was still a great trip! One little hiccup getting our tickets attached to our Magic Bands the first day was taken care of by the concierge stationed in the BCV lobby. Our bands worked great, and we were booking FP+ either the night before or the morning of without any problems other than Toy Story FP+ being gone. No biggie as we got to the park when it opened and went straight there and rode TSMM.

I would say my biggest complaint would be the buses. One early evening we were waiting on a bus to MK. In a 30 minute period 3 AK buses and 2 DTD buses came by before we ever got a MK one. When it showed up, it was packed. We had several other longer-than-normal waits on buses that were quite full when they showed up. Other than that, the trip was great!

I'm so glad you enjoyed BCV. I'm a big fan. Although one of our Magic Bands didn't get us into the room and check-in took longer than usual (about 15 minutes-some computer problems), we then inexplicably got turn-down service every night. We never complained about either little glitch, but I think they went out of their way to have happy guests. Was your villa a courtyard view? If so, how was it? That's one view we haven't had in a 1 BR, and considering requesting it.

It was a courtyard view. I would say the view was nice "ish". We were closer to the entrance to the DVC building not down by the car entrance to the BC so it was really quiet. Our daughter liked being able to people watch from there. I would request it just for room location.

We were at BCV 10/31to 11/10 and the only thing my DH said was that the hall carpets did look a little worn. Otherwise, our room was great , clean and the cast members were fantastic. We love it there. Already booked for next year!

Sounds like a fantastic trip!

Did you have to ask in advance for towel animals or did they just appear? We are checking in on Saturday and I would love to be greeted by those amazing creatures .

We were there this past June, Loved it no problems (except we couldn't stay longer) & CMs as always were great.
