You summed it up perfectly. All the DVC resorts have their pros and cons and all are wonderful resorts without a doubt. One can not state that one is best because they are all best and all are unique resorts. You will love VWL it is a totally different atmosphere than either OKW or BWV and is also a wonderful resort. I can't wait to try out BCV next! The only DVC resort I am not in a hurry to stay in right now is VB but that is only because I presently live 15 minutes from the seashore with fantastic beaches, but once I live in central FL on a more year round basis then I presently do, I am sure I will also enjoy VB very much.

Thanks for your response. I also live 15 minutes from some wonderful beaches (Jones Beach in LI, NY) and feel the same way about VB.
Have you stayed at Hilton Head? My DH and I had planned to drive down for a 4-night deal (16-hour drive) but decided to stay close to home, since his Mom was very sick. I'm wondering what the atmosphere is at that resort, since we do not play golf or yacht...I liked the "southern charm" of the place, however.
Thanks for the big thumbs-up on Wilderness Lodge Villas. That will probably be my next stop.

HH is also a beautiful resort with biking and hiking trails available, there is also a dolphin cruise and trips to Savannah, Georgia. Also the resort overs activities like crafts, campfires etc. The food and wine seminar given by Chef Gordon is also excellent.

Thanks for the information on Hilton Head. Your description certainly sparked my interest, especially with the Dolphin Cruise and trip to Savannah.
