Ok, so I have often had the feeling, I cant believe this is happening to me
But this time, I kept saying to myself, I cant believe this is happening to me!!!!
To start at the beginning, I originally booked a bunk bed room at WL, and when the Visa codes came out, I called CRO and of course the first CM I spoke to said I could not use the code. So I called back, and the next CM said I could not use the code at WL, but I could get a standard room at BC for $400 less!!
I debated for a moment because my boys are 4 and 6, and prefer the MK over everything else, and plus they loved the lodge last time. But in the end, I switched because I had always wanted to stay there, and never thought I would be able to afford it. For $400 less, the boys could bus it to MK, and enjoy SAB.
So, our flight lands at 10:30 pm on Friday night, and all goes well with ME and we arrive at BC at about 11:15. We looked like something the cat dragged in as we all had been up and on the go since 6 am, and I figured we would be getting a dumpster view since we were checking in so late. The lobby was very quiet, and there were two college intern girls at the check in desk. I gave one my name and the first thing she said was, You have been complimentary upgraded to concierge level!
I was speechless. All I could manage to say was, Wow. Thanks. My husband didnt even understand what that meant. She also handed me a long stem rose, special gold keys to the world, and buttons that said Happy Anniversary. Now, we went to WDW for our honeymoon, and our 5th anniversary, and got nothing special. It is just our 7th anniversary this year, and I dont even remember letting anyone know. All of the concierge staff was gone for the night, so we did not get escorted to our room, and the lounge was closed.
Our room was 5635 and overlooked the back entrance to the lobby. We had a beautiful view of SB and the windmill. It was so beautiful at night. We had full balcony, but no daybed which was fine by us. We got towel animals every day, and turn down service with chocolate every night. The room was in excellent repair, and always impeccably clean. On the second night, we had a message from private dining on our phone. They had a delivery for us. It was champagne and chocolate covered strawberries with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate, and the plate was dusted in gold! I definitely felt like I was on somebody elses vacation! Nothing like this has ever happened to me before!
I cant say enough nice things about the BC, and will post more when I have time. But right now we are drowning in dirty laundry.
I will be happy to answer any questions.

I thought the lifeguards did an awesome job. The pool area is huge, and they were constantly walking around checking every corner. The lazy river is very mild if you have tube, but it is deep and hard to swim against the current. I always went in with my guys, and by the end of the day there were many abandoned tubes. We got food from Hurricane Hannahs once and it was pretty good, and my mom got us some mango strawberry margaritas that were awesome.
There was a girl going around taking orders, but we never used this service. She had a lot of ground to cover. If you wanted to get pool towels, you had to show your room cards, and that is when they issued wristbands. I never saw anyone check for wristbands though, and there are so many entrances to the pool area, I am not sure how they can police the area. My parents live in Florida, and they came to spend time with us, but I told them in advance they could not use the pool. My mom did sit with me though when we watched the boys go down the slide umpteen times, and we overheard people talking about someone they knew who had been banned from SAB.
Congrats!!!!
