This was our first stay at ASSP. We have stayed at Movies a few times and really enjoy it, but with my kids being big sports fans I figured we would give Sports a try this time. We checked in on Sunday 7/18 at about 1:00. There was no line for check in, but it took quite a while, about a 1/2 hour. My mother had a room under our reservation too and she wanted a separate credit card for charging. Somehow that caused a problem with the CM.
Our room wasnt ready, but we were told we had the Football building. Turns out we were in the one on the left side 3rd floor, but a room in back. We have always gotten back rooms at ASMO so this time I requested a front one, but no luck. It was still a great location, close to what we needed, the main building, both pools(my kids preferred the baseball pool), and laundry. The room was fine, just what I had expected. It was spotless and Mousekeeping was great. They made a towel animal for my kids and put their stuffed snakes on it(they won the snakes at AK). They also made a Mickey head out of towels in my mothers room.
The bus service was pretty good. We have found ASMO's to be better, but a couple times we just missed the bus we needed, so it may just have been bad timing on our part. The Food Court was very convenient and we were satisfied with the food there.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay at ASSP and we would go back again.
