Just back from ASMu and POR - had a great trip!!

We just got back from 5 days at ASMu and 5 days at POR. Had a GREAT trip! The crowds were too big for us (we are usually January visitors), but otherwise it was a great experience. Both resorts were so great - lots of Disney magic to be had!!!

We really love the all-stars. We have two small children, and these resorts just work really well for us at this stage in our lives. Music was clean, cast members were friendly, housekeeping was great - no complaints at all.

Having said that, we really did like POR too. Our only complaint is that we were in AB building 28, a fair walk from the main building, and that we were on the second floor with no elevators. Why are there NO elevators in these buildings? It doesn't make any sense to me. And why would you put a family with a stroller on the second floor? But other than that, it was great. I loved it. The food court had good food and very nice people, but the lines were always really long, and most times only about half of the registers were open. We LOVED Ol' Man Island - my 6 year old LOVED the water slide and it was just a really lovely pool area. I would definately stay there again - in a closer building on the 1st floor!!

I was just reading another post stating that All Stars Music was in need of a great over haul. DId you find it that way also? How were the dispensers in the shower area? I heard they can get pretty grosteque. How was the food court and parking also? I didn't see A FAQ on this resort,. Sorry for all the ?'s TIA
