Just Back from ASMu 6/21 to 6/28

Just got bck from ASMu- DD was dancing on the Tomorrowland stage with her dance group. Had a great time but won't be going back in the summer EVER again!!! TOO HOT!!

I'd be happy to answer any questions about ASMu or the parks!!

We were in building 2- The Jazz Inn. Close to both pools and a short walk to the food court.

Also had Youride for transportation...

I'm the same way you are when it comes to the summer heat - and the 2 times I've been in EARLY June, it was 90's and humid. So I'll stick to other times of the year.

ASMu is my fav of the All Stars - glad you had a fun trip!!!!

We had a GREAT trip and I wouldn't have traded it for the world (seeing DD dance in the MK was AWESOME) but it is just not the same experience or atmosphere in the summer as it is in October/November.

Could you tell me if the wait in the lines were really long?
Long to me would be about 2 to 3 hours.
30 mins to 1 hr light lines..
was it hotter than 95-98 ?

I think the hottest that it was was around 94 but I did see lines above the 2 hour mark. Fast pass was the way to go but on some days, fast passes were gone by 2 pm. The one day we were in MGM, Tower of Terror fast passes were gone by 1:30 in the afternoon. Another day we were in MK and Splash Mountain had a 135 minute wait at 2:30, didn't see if there were any fast passes left though. We did E-night and left those rides for then. It was much more manageable that way.

We stayed at AS-Mu June 19-25. Most of the time, the lines were "light", less than 30 minutes; Mid-day lines were longer. Some MK lines on Tuesday, June 24, were 60 to 75 minutes during mid-day. We had "extremely light" lines between 4:30 and park closing (7pm ) in the MK on Friday, June 20.

HOT We did not experience hot temperatures during our stay. It was cloudy and rainy up until the last two days. Even on the last two days (June 24 & 25), the temperature never climbed out of the 80's. Maybe it heated up after that.

sugarplumsmom--We stated in Jazz Inn as well. I was happy with that building because we didn't get the noise from the big pool (open till midnight) but we were still "close" to the food court. It looked like quite a walk for the guests staying in the far buildings.

I'll be staying at ASMu July 19-22...my first trip to Disney. I've heard the rooms are tiny...but yanno....I dont' plan on being IN the room that much.
I'm dreading the heat..but I'm in Atlanta..so I'm sure I can handle it
Is one fast pass for alll rides..or do you get 1 for each ride...and what is e-night??

cali2gagirl E night is for WDW resort guest they paid $12 A $10 C . you get to ride after the park Closes to enjoy the park Best Attractions for three hours. I think 2 night a week.

Fastpass is for the busy times on rides, you get to put your ticket in to get a fastpass ticket with a time to come back and ride that ride. they have a diffent line.

[Some rides in EPCOT last week allowed us to get another fastpass 5 minutes after distribution of a fastpass. Fastpasses at most rides will restrict the holder from getting another fastpass until 2 hours have passed since getting a fastpass or until 5 minutes after the beginning of the return time window, whichever occurs 1st.]

I have used Youride my past 4 trips to WDW and I am very satisfied with them!!!! Three times we used them for a Towncar and it was $85 round trip. Last October we got a Limo and it was $185 or $190- I can't remember exactly. They are always on time and very polite.
