Just back from a great nine day vacation. The first three nights we stayed at ASMo. I can only say good things about this resort. Our room was ready when we arrived at 11:00am. We were in a refurbished Toy Story Room , which I did request. The room was what I expect of a value resort. I can honestly say we experienced the BEST service here compared to any of the other Disney resorts we have stayed at. The CMs were absolutley wonderful and went out of their way to make my children (ages 4 and 6) feel special. The food court was great and the grounds were exceptionally fun for the kids. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
Our last 6 nights were at POFQ. We had a bit of a rough start. When we arrived to our room, the air conditioning unit was running so loudly it literally sounded like it was going to explode and our thermostat was not working. There were cheerios ALL over the room. Cheerios on the beds, floors, and tables. Yuck! I was getting a little worried! Anyways, maintenance came and said they needed to replace the whole unit. They said they would be back in 20 minutes. 20 minutes came and went...no new unit. Finally a room assigner called and asked if we would like to change rooms. Of course, I said yes. We were upgraded to a pool view in building 5!! Great location. Close to the pool, food court, and river. Our mousekeeping here was wonderful. Our room was well maintained and we always came "home" to towel animals and the kids stuffed animals arranged in fun ways. POFQ is quite charming. We really enjoyed the smallness of the resort. In our opinion the food court left a little to be desired...but it wouldn't stop us from staying there again. However, now that I have stayed at 2 values, 2 moderates, and 1 deluxe, I will say that the moderates don't hold much appeal for our family. From now on we will either go value or deluxe. I know many of you disagree, but I just don't see enough differences between the value and the moderate to actually justify paying moderate prices. Sad to be back but excited to start planning our trip next year to AKL!!! Hope these reviews help someone!
