this trip was awesome and had very few disappointments...just ask and i will tell. i would love to share info to anyone. we are a very laid back couple and didnt do a lot of running around when we first got on board and got everything we wanted (excursions, palos)..>you dont have to run..we were at the end of the boarding and still had time..anyway. please respond if i can help...im sad the anticipation is over...im also glad i finally met wovenwonder

It was nice to meet you also!:)

I'd love to hear your point of view from a 'young couples' perspective. Did you mind the children? What were your favorite activities on board? Favorite places to relax? etc.

Yes, it was great to meet you Jody!!! I love to have a name with a face!!! Our family had a wonderful time!!! We are now saving to go on the Western DCL!!! Everything was just so magical!!! The lanyards you sent were so helpful....thanks!!! I will write a report in the near future. I just can't give enough praise to this forumn....it had so many wonderful tips that our family used!!!

with her 1 year old ? Did she end up taking a VCR ? What did she think of it with a little one ?

my sister did fine with the little one. we were in a cat 9 room and because it has that separation curtain they put her crib behind that and that is where she slept. did fine without a vcr......it was a good trip/ as a young couple we played bingo daily and met a lot of other new couples. we ordered cheese/cracker tray and carried that to the movies with us. we did the catamaran excursion in st thomas and it was fantastic..a bit pricy but it was worth it...we almost booked a western carib while we were there but didnt want to be to impulsive

Were the excursions all booked when you got on? Sounds like you guys didn't decide on excursions until you boarded. Is that right? thoughts on this?

i booked my champagne catamaran 2 days before and actually changed them the same day. the tickets were waiting in my room..some were sold out on the boat but not as nearly as i expected...i wanted the 5 star st john excursion but was sold out weeks in advance. i heard it was really great..but the catamaran was fantastic..cant wait to do it again in october

ganurse...I was wondering which Catamaran trip you took. We wanted to go on the ST John Catamaran but not enough people signed up. I happen to meet(here in Charleston) the grandmother of the young couple who own/run this trip and was very dissapointed I did not get a chance to meet them. We took the 5-Star insteed and it was OK, but not what we wanted.

we took the champagne catamaran in st thomas...it was 6 hours,,,there is another catamaran in st maarten thats only 4..ours was wonderful...good people..The dont own it, just take turns hosting trips...also, good lunch (cold vut buffet and homemade cookies and brownies...lots of alcohol. i dont drnik much but they had great margaritas...it was cloudy on the way over but the snorkling was great and it was sunny on the way back!..my husband also recommends it
