Just back from AKV

I bought into DVC about 3 years ago (When daughter was born)...Been to SSR 3 times so we decided to venture outside of our home resort...I have to say that Animal Kingdom is a fantastic place and I will have a hard time not booking there for the next few trips...(Especially with Kidani opening)...If you are thinking about where to stay book here with confidence...Awesome resort.

we always stay at ssr because we love it and this past feb we stayed at jambo value studio, wow what a great resort!!! we are staying a week in august again jambo studio.

We stayed in a "Standard Studio" AKL last month and absolutely it!!! We had a mild case of "addonitis" prior to the trip (SSR is our "home") but had been thinking about buying a resale at VWL. Now we are seriously considering AKV!

Got any pix to share??? (Can't wait til May when the first Kidani guests come back with pix!!) My kids are anxious to see that new pool and water play area... and so am I!

We left AKV on March 29th, and I agree, it's a wonderful, beautiful resort and wish I were there right now!!! We do have a 1 night stay in Kidani in May.

AKV is a beautiful place to stay! I just called DVC Member Services this morning to book my March 2010 stay at Kidani Village.

I was at WDW a few weeks ago for a couple of days while in FL on business (stayed in a value for the price and to not take away points from our family trips for my solo add-on to work trip) and HAD to go over and spend some time at AKV just to watch the animals and soak in the atmosphere.... I so love it. Can't wait for our next family trip to AKV in January... my boys and I are going down in late May for Star Wars Weekends (staying at OKW), and I just KNOW we'll end up at AKV again to see the animals and soak in somemore atmosphere... can't wait.... I love it!
