My family and I just arrived home from a much needed WDW vacation! It was the most magical yet! princess:

We stayed at the WL and loved it! As you can see from our signature, that is our "home away from home".

We went to MK, Epcot, MGM, and TL. The crowds were light with the exception of night parades and fireworks! This was a pleasant surprise! We never waited more than 15 minutes for a ride! If the line was longer and fast pass was an option, we used it. It was wonderful!

On the first day of our arrival we were able to walk right into the barbershop for haircuts for DS and DD. It was the first haircut for DD and it was really a neat experience! She never realized that her hair was being cut! They were wonderful!

DS went on the childrens' fishing excursion that left from the YC/BC. He loved it! He had many fish stories to tell when he arrived back at the dock! I think that it was the highlight of his trip!

The day that we visited the WS, the crowds were non existent! I was shocked! I really enjoyed picking a pearl in Japan! I had it made into a necklace! It was so pretty! I would not have know about that if not for you folks on the DIS! :grouphug:

That is all that I can think of now! I will post a trip report soon!

Sounds like you had a great trip  :Pinkbounc

Thanks for sharing, will be looking forward to your full trip report. If you wouldn't mind, how much was the pearl and having it made into necklace.I would like to do for DW on DEcemebr trip. Thanks Danny :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

You must purchase a ticket to pick out an oyster. The ticket for the oyster cost around 13.00. You choose your oyster and they open it for you. They really put on a production when they open it and present the pearl! If your pearl is over 7.5 mm they will ring the gong. Mine was exacly 7.5! You could keep the pearl or have it set in a setting. I picked the sterling silver setting for a necklace. The pearl sits in a little cage. It cost around $17. The chain cost another $10. They had all kinds of settings in sterling silver and gold. You could choose from earrings, necklaces, rings, or a beautiful dragonfly pin. I thought the prices were very reasonable. Naturally, the gold settings cost more than the sterling silver.
