Well how did you like it? We stayed there in 2001 and were very happy with it. However, I've read reviews (on other boards) that were not very encouraging. We are heading there on the 26th. Is there much work/refurbishment going on? I know the big pool will be closed while we are there. So basically I guess--just fill us in with general impression, happy/not happy. Happy I hope

I actually called Disney, and the CM didn't seem to know that ANY buildings were going to be refurb'd at ASSp. But, to be fair, the computers were down, so he didn't have access to a lot of info...

I noticed that you are from Manchester, we are too! We are also going on the 26th. This trip will be just myself and son, husband is to busy at work and I couldn't pass up the free dining!

Well we are going to be myself, DH and 2 DS's. Very excited. I also tried to change to Music but couldn't. Oh well, I'm not too concerned with the pool situation. I think the pool situation will be fine. The walk to music is very short. After trying to change hotels, I remembered that the transportation is usually better at sports. They are first on the All Star run and each time we have stayed there we haven't had to share a bus that often. We are taking the 6:30 A.m. flight! My sons best friend and his family are also taking the same flight. We will spend the first day @MK with the and then we will be on our own. We can't wait!

Home Run Hotel is the only section that has been refurbished.They had begun working on Touchdown! last week and had already released some refurbed Touchdown! rooms to Guests when I left Saturday.It was really interesting to watch them refurb the rooms as I walked to Stadium Hall each day.My Home Run Hotel room was SO nice.
