Just back from a 6 nights stay, 4@CBR and 2@GF

Still wish I was there. This was our 2nd visit to CBR and we were very pleased with our room Mart. 23 room #2346. We had a great Mousekeeper and she always had a surprise for the kids. I love the new look. Bus service was good. I don't really have any complaints about the resort.

This was our 1st stay at the GF. I was a little concerened about being overwhelmed by it. We arrived for our 7:30 PS for the 1900 Park Fare breakfast.(This was our excuse for going over there. We didn't tell the children that we were changing resorts). Then as we finshed breakfast the Character Caravan arrived. The children seemed to enjoy it. We continued our little tour of the grounds and ended up at the Marina. Then we surprised the children with the Priate Cruise. At first our 9 yr. old daughter wasn't really happy about it. She was glad she went. She talked about it the entire day. The CM are really great with the children. Ours were the oldest on board.

We asked for a room as soon as possible because we had hoped to have all the luggage in the room before the children finshed the cruise at 12:00. Well it just wasn't in the cards. I had faxed a request on Mnday explaining that we were surprising our daughter. When my husband was checking-in the CM asked if it was still a surprise. She gave us our info and a card with a number to call and get our room #. We did have a room by 2:00. We had asked for a MK view. I didn't feel comfortable with asking for a certain room and they didn't fail me. We had a room in Conch Key, #7228. We couldn't have been any happier. The Cindy's home was dead center of out view of MK. Everything was smooth. The children really loved the new pool. NOW I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!

Glad you had a GREAT time! We'll be stayin at the GF Lagoon View soon and I was going to request Conch Key. The room you had, was that a regular Lagoon View or was it Conceirge? Were there any Lagoon View rooms in Conch Key which were blocked or partially blocked by trees? I was hoping to stay on the highest floor in Conch Key . . .you were on the 2nd and had a good view? Were you also able to see the EWP?

Yes, it was on the 2nd floor. The top floor will be a domer room. The balcony for those rooms are smaller but the are more private. We could see the EWP from our room. the boat dockwas just to the right of our balcony. It is quiet in that area. (Unless you have children running up and down the hall) Our view was totally clear. There is a tree that would cause some obstruction to the left of our room. Also this room isn't conceirge.

oh, you certainly did have an excellent room at the GF!!!
I can picture exactly where it is!
our first stay at the GF, we stayed in room 7327, which is right above your room, and over one. it was the most spectacular view!!! we could see the castle while laying on the bed!!!!!!!!!
