Just back from 9 lovely days at WL

Were there many kids staying there or mostly adults? Did you have kids and did they like it?

Isn't WL wonderful!!

I'm not the OP, but I can answer some of the questions. There is a boat that goes to CR. Also to Fort Wilderness. If you are in a hurry, take the bus to MK. It only takes about 5 minutes to get there. If you want to relax and soak in the atmosphere, ride the boat.

We will be staying at the WL July 8-14.

Can you tell me if there was a VCR, DVD player, or both in the rooms? I would like to bring a few favorite movies for our 3 year old to watch before bed-it is a part of her bedtime "winding-down" routine.

I guess I could bring my own DVD player with us , but that is just one more thing to pack:scared:

Thanks!

last time we where there they only had VCR at WL, but then again the last time we where there was in 2004 so things definitely could have changed. :happytv:

OP do you know about the DVD player in the room, I was wondering also....Heather

I can't speak for the villas, but there was no VCR or DVD player in our room.

Wow - so many questions already! :)

Yes there are boats to the MK and CR. The bus is faster to MK but at times during the stay we shared buses with Fort Wilderness and the Grand Floridian (still even with sharing it is not more than 10 minutes to MK). The boat is more relaxing I would say but if you are in a hurrry I would bus it. Also, in the mornings the boat's first stop is Fort Wilderness and then stops at WL, then the MK. In the afternoons the order is MK, WL, Fort Wilderness.

WE did not have a DVD player or VCR. My husband brought a portable DVD player and had those connector plugs (sorry I am not a technical person at all and don't know what they are called) which hooked into the TV and so we could watch DVDs.

I don't have kids but there were lots of kids at the resort. The kids were very well behaved and outside of the pool area it was not loud at all. I would say that every kid I saw seemed to be having a great time.

Hope that helps!

We just returned from 4 wonderful days at the WL. We did a split stay 4 at CB and 5 at WL. We haven't stayed at the WL for 5 years. It was so nice to be able to stay there again.:goodvibes :goodvibes
