We returned yesterday from the 7night eastern trip on the Magic. It was a great experience all the way around...with the exception of the wild rudder incident that others have written about. I have to say, it had me a little on edge!

Every time I walked by the DCL-Castaway Club table on deck 4 there were people waiting to talk to the sales agent Donna. Did any of of you re-book for next fall? We decided to go with the Western itinerary for 11/8/03.

We did! We knew were were going to rebook before we got on but waited to get the onboard credit. I was lucky and rebooked with her on Tuesday when she first was out there. I was surprised by the line I saw everytime I passed.

FYI for any others who booked for the Nov 2003 cruise while onboard this week. They handed out a paper with the prices for the Nov 1st cruise and the prices on the paper were different than the prices available to her in her computer. I noticed the difference when I received my confirmation in my stateroom and when I did the addition the price was $300.00 more than it should have been. I went back to Donna and it was wrong, she said it was due to a DCL price increase that took affect Monday. My price was decreased $300.00 to reflect the advertised price on the sheet we received. It's worth checking to be sure you received the correct price.

We did! We got our same rooms for March of '04. Great trip.

We didn't. We didn't feel the small ship credit they were offering wasn't worth booking now vs thinking about it a while.

Besides, my family really missed the parks, so we probably will go there instead.

In addition, being part of the NJ contingent, I have an interest in the NJEA teachers conference schedule. As it turns out, we can go to WDW and include Halloween which was a real treat a few years ago. I will probably look to do the cruise again in 2005. Halloween is even closer to the teachers conference in 2004.

More time to save the pennies for the next cruise, anyway

Hope you all have a great time withou us! We'll be thinking of you all!

Paul

Hate to say it but that was last cruise for awhile, this was 2nd disney cruise for us
and I can find better things to do with the $7000 I spent on cruise than do it again.
We cruised 2 years ago same week and had mostly same performers again. St Martin
didn't impress me and the snorkeling at Pinel Island was pretty rough. Coki Beach
in St Thomas had good snorkeling and the submarine ride was nice but all in all its pretty expensive if the best day is the day at the beach. Time to explore other worlds and
try different places. been to WDW 4 times and cruise 2 times. Thats enough for now.
To each his own but there's more to the world than Mickey.. And thats from someone
who has walts autograph hanging in the livingroom... Happy Cruising! Cheers, Gary
