Day 3 MK
We headed to Grand Floridian for breakfast at 1900 park fare. Breakfast was excellant. Characters were Mad Hatter,Alice,Pooh, and Tigger on the inside. The characters spent time with each DD and it didnt seemed rushed. Outside was Mary Poppins and Eyeore. My youngest DD is a huge Mary Poppins fan, it was magical to watch her light up when she saw her.
From there we took the momorail to MK. by now it is almost 10am so we headed straight to get fast passes for Splash Mountain. Stand by line wasnt that long about 5 min so we skipped the fast passes and rode it 3 times. Poppa got us fast passes for Thunder railroad. Now we never claimed Poppa was the brightest deer in the woods. I thought he wanted to ride Splash so my DD's and myself headed to it again. We are next to get steated when Poppa asked if this was Thunder Railroad. My youngest said no silly it is the log ride. I thought he was going to run out of there but thankfullly he stayed and enjoyed himself.
We rode a few other rides and @ 2 we headed out due to the size of the crowds. We headed back to the hotel to go swimming.
5pm we ate at liberty tree tavern and enjoyed that meal also. The characters were good though a tad rushed.
We were going to head out after that but Poppa wanted to look at a watch in a store on main st. This is when Disaster struck. After looking around we were going to catch our bus. DW took DD to the bathroom and we were going to meet at guest services. They had roped off for the parade. Nana,DD and myself crossed the street. Poppa saw we crossed and was heading over. Somehow he tripped over the trolley tracks. He fell hit his head and almost knocked himself out. He tried standing and fell and hit his head a 2nd time. By now Nana is yelling for me, my DD is screaming and crying. I passed her off to Nana and carried Poppa out of the street. I bet there were 10 CM's asking him if he was alright,if he wanted to go to the hospital or if he needed anything. I checked him out from head to toe. He had a huge bruise on his side of his head, a scaped knee and a cracked rib. I got some ice for his head and we watched the parade. From there we slowly walked to the bus and to the hotel. I taped up his ribs and in the morning he was sore but raring to head out.
Day 4 MGM
We went to MGM at opening. 1st ride was TOT and that was great. My youngest DD was a little frightened but my oldest DD wanted to ride again so we used Nana and Poppas fast pass since they were to chicken. We hit just about everything MGM had to offer and went back to the hotel to go swimming. That night we ate at the Hoop dee doo review. We have never been and enjoyed ourselves. It was the highlight of the trip for Poppa.
Day 5 Epcot
As soon as we arrived in Epcot I grabbed 6 FP for test track. The passes were for 530pm.
Breakfast at Norway. Good breakfast and great Character interaction. Mulan Belle, Aurora,Jasmine and Snow white were there. The kids had a wonderful time.
We then went around the world. Lines were not bad. In Japan my DD's each bought an oyster with a pearl. Oldest DD's oyster had 2 pearls and youngest DD had 1 but it was big.
by now it is 3pm so we headed to the hotel to change for dinner. Then back to Epcot for dinner at the Garden Grill. Dinner was great(this is my favorite Character meal) then off to Test Track. After riding test track we headed back to Japan to buy another oyster for the girls. DW decided to try her luck and so dod nana. Both DD and DW had the same size pearls. Nana's oyster had a black pearl.
From there we staked out a spot to watch the fire works. Very nice show I must add.
Back to the hotel and it is almost midnight.
Day 6 MK
EE 7am and we were in the park. We did 65% of what we wanted to do between 7am and 9am. 1st ride was space mountain then off to Stitch which I can honstly say was a waste of time.(and I was looking forward to it even after reading about it here)then Dumbo snowwhite and peter pan. Then we had breakfast with Cinderella. I must say I like the Storybook Princess Breakfast in Norway ALOT better and so did my DD's. We felt rushed and thought the food wasnt as good.
After breakfast it was off to splash mountain again for 2 rides haunted mansion, the riverboat and a couple of others.
Lunch Crystal Palace. We have done it before and will do it again. We have fun there. Food was okay but watching the kids with the characters is priceless.
After lunch it was off to the hotel to go swimming. Nana and Poppa stayed and watched the parade.
Dinner we had at the food court. It was ok. Nana an Poppa met us and Nana went to her room with a migraine. we went to MGM to see the lights. These we hadnt seen before and we thought they were top notch. From there we went to see Indiana Jones and then back to the Hotel.
Day 7 AK
grabbed breakfast and off we went.I liked this park and it was a perfect way to end our stay. It started off crowed and died off quick. We did any ride that needed a fast pass at least 3 times. The kali river rapids we went on 5 times in a row without using a fast pass and it only took less then 3 minutes each time.
We had lunch at the RainForest Cafe. Good meal and good service. We went on a few more rides,watched the parade and headed back to the hotel to pack. After packing we had dinner and headed to the pool.
said our goodbyes to Nana and Poppa and went to bed.
4am we got up and 5am FL tours picked us up to head home
To sum it up we had a great time, some priceless memories and good weather. We are either going on a cruise or headed back to the parks. Any questions I will happily answer.
