Just back: Feelin' the love again from my DVC!

I've been a bit down lately on what I see as negative chances to the DVC program.

But we spent a night at SSR before our DCL cruise, and an afternoon hanging around OKW having lunch and relaxing before our flight home afterward.

The service and food were really good both places. The SSR main pool was VERY WARM and perfectly comfy for swimming. Our studio room overlooking DTD was really lovely. AP there was confusing layout wise, and pricey...but the food was good.

They are rehabbing the OKW playground area, and possibly the baby pool as well. Everyone looked like they were enjoying the pool at OKW the afternoon we were there.

DH even asked me about doing the OKW extension! I have a call into our guide to check on it....we'd be in our mid 90s before it expired!

Anyway, I just wanted to send out a positive report after being a negative Nelly at times about the changes to DVC lately.

I'm glad you had a good experience this time around. I am also glad to hear that the pool water was warm! Pool temps seem to have been a problem the past couple of years.

Thanks for the report...we also love our DVC!!

I'll be dead when you are in your mid 90's, but I want to leave a piece of Disney to my kids.

I hope one day they will be able to enjoy Disney, like we enjoy it now...

DVC in my will......Then whenever they are in "The happiest place on earth" they will think of me...

Well, I'd still like my Concierge Collection back!

But, I think that the Internet access will be great. And I was looking at the toaster in our studio....another add on since we bought in '96. There's more glassware now in the studio as well.

And the whole idea of staying in those GREAT rooms for just our dues each year is wonderful!

Glad to hear that you had a good experience. I will also be in my 90s when my AKV contract expires. I wonder if they will offer me a reasonable extension.
