Just Back, Experiences

[BLLB]

Just got back from 9 day stay at BCV.

Positives:

1. Pixie Dust On Arrival. Our 1BR was ready at 11:30 am. It was really a blessing because a huge storm blew in within the hour (tornado warnings). Don't know what we would have done if we didn't have the room. Harry Potter marathon that day on ABC Family.

2. Lots of new dining this time. Had dinner at The Wave, Flying Fish, Be Our Guest, Beaches and Cream.

3. Love the renovated Boardwalk Bakery. Lobster roll was amazing.

4. LOVED our Magic Bands. Rode as many or more rides than previous trips. Small issue was we had a linked reservation for the last day. DS's band wouldn't open the door. Loved being able to pay with it, room key, etc. They checked our bands at the pool everyday.

5. Cabana at Typhoon Lagoon. Not sure how we could return without one. It was great!

Not the Greatest (not that bad!)

1. Not sure if we got all we could out of Tables In Wonderland. Used it for 2 trips. Just kept forgetting about it at the Counter Service places.

2. Missed the seating at Main Street Bakery, not impressed with the bakery offerings.

3. Lots of construction at the hub in MK, big green "walls". Had I not seen the plans for the new pathways, I would have wondered why the "moat" was drained.

4. The "walls" meant you could not see the MSEP from the Wishes Dessert Party.

Really had a great vacation, can't wait to start planning for next year.

Thanks for the report. TIW is not accepted at most counter service, I think that's a big downside. I think the only park is AK.

They drained the moat so they could drive the cranes in front of the castle. It is quite geniuses for it to be a multipurpose function, or maybe that is just the engineer in me

You must have arrived on March 29th! We left that day and our flight was delayed. When we finally got home all of our luggage and everything inside of it was soaked from the crazy sideways rain and did not smell fresh!

I like your dining choices. I need to think of some by April 5th to make reservations!

Yes, we arrived on 3/29. Wasn't that crazy?

I would definitely return to all of them. Particularly liked Flying Fish.
