Just Back-EE ROCKS...even for us wimps!!!

So, we are going thru the line and the whole time I am telling BF that "I dont like this..." "Im really nervous about this.." and his only reply is..."You'll go on Mission Space Orange with no problem...this will be nothing...You'll be fine." *GULP* I was ok...until I heard someone in line for the safari talk about getting stuck on the ride...Now stuck on the incline...no problem...stuck on a straight away...sure...Well, then this poor unknowning soul had to elaborate how it must have really sucked for those in the helix..AUGH! Oh No...panic panic panic...Don't let the name fool you...when it comes to things I don't have control of I'm a wimp...put me on a rope and let me rapell down...no problem...I control that...but put me on a roller coaster and well...I have no control...no good.

So, by this point we are locked and loaded and start gliding-yes...gliding forward. BF said I looked green...We go up up up the incline...it was like floating...we get to the break and linger there for a second...at which point I talked myself thru...ok we're going backwards...not upside down...it was AWSOME!!! it had to have been one of the best parts of the ride...back on even ground and ZOOM! We were off! Down the mountain wasnt bad at all...around the mountain...very cool...The Yeti...pretty scary...but they did an awsome job with this ride!!!
Actually we were going to ride it again but the line was too long and it was really hot...So, we decided we needed a reason to come back...

Very worth it!
I can't wait to do it again!!!

Thanks from a wimp who made a promise to a DS. I'll be riding it soon! BTW, I love your jumpy you/ coffee sipping BF - that's DH and me perfectly! You'll make a happy couple for years to come - it's all in the balance!

Secondgradememories...thank you...BF and I really do balance each other out...Sometimes its almost scary!
As to the promise to your DS...go for it! It was soo worth it and I'm kind of bummed we didnt get back on it....but lines/heat...gives us something to come back to!
Just remember the ride is something like 2.45 minutes...

I think I'm still a wimp. I haven't done Space Mountain or Big Thunder Railroad. I have done Splash Mountain, but even that freaked me out for a bit - and it was 6 years ago. I think I'm more terrified with age.

You can do this!!! Just remember its only 2.45 minutes...watch some of the videos so you know what to expect...I could recite each part of the trip...BF thought I was nuts!!! But it got me thru!!!
If I can do it you can do it too!!!

I do have over a year to psyche myself up (or out), since we're not going back until November 2007. We'll have to see.

Last time I went on a roller coaster, it wasn't pretty. I lost my lunch and ended a good day at Busch Gardans Tampa. Of course, that was one of those coasters that loops upside down and you're feet are hanging.

Ok i must definately try EE on my trip in December .I was there just a few weeks ago but i did not try it. Probally because of semi wimp reasons if there

this doesnt feel like a roller coaster...this puppy glides...it sure doesnt feel like a coaster...space mountain-thats a coaster...you can definately tell the difference in technology!
