We have been to Disney countless times and thought we had done almost everything we wanted to do / see but we had quite a few firsts on this trip!

Our first first...T-Rex in Downtown Disney! It is really beautiful inside and the food was good! If you have little boys, I highly recommend it!

We also tried Ohana for dinner. The atmosphere, food and interaction with the children all made for a fun evening. The chicken and shrimp were divine! The view is fantastic as well...I would imagine you could see the fireworks over the castle if you time your reservation right.

This was the first time we dined at Chef Mickey's. The characters made the buffet that much better. The food was good, especially the turkey roast.

We decided to use two table credits for the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. It was a hoot and so energetic! My children (even our 15 month old) LOVED it because it was interactive and entertaining! Served family style, the food was tasty and the service was very good.

We also got a chance to see the new Fantasyland and the new Belle attraction. It was a preview and not opened to the entire park...you had to be at the right place at the right time. ;). It is just gorgeous in that new closed off area!! The Belle attraction (it is not a ride) was darling; it is interactive and that is all I will say about it, other than if you have a little girl, this is a must! Boys will definitely enjoy it too though! :)

The new Fantasyland is amazing and filled with such details! They just opened the Big Top store, which is huge. They make delicious edible treats in the center and half the items are considered "snacks". We were able to experience the first day the character meet and greet opened as well. There are two sides: Goofy and Donald to the right and Minnie and Daisy to the left.

The new Dumbo is simply gorgeous! They offer a fast pass and have a play area inside. When we went on Monday, we had the OPTION to play and since it was not busy, we decided to let the kids play. However, when we returned on Saturday, we waited in line and kept seeing people leave the line and just assumed that it was because it was taking longer than the 15 minutes posted (45 minutes). Turns out when we got up to the play area, we were given a pager, which keeps your place in line and told to go to the play area. It was a zoo and I said we were not interested in going and prefer to stay in line. We were told that it is part of the attraction and we HAD to go in there or could not ride the ride. I was rather surprised by this because we had the choice just days prior. There were kids everywhere! This made it impossible to watch our own kids running around a large play area with so many others. We were out-numbered because we have 3 kids and each one seemed to be in a different direction. There is an emergency exit door, which people were using constantly and no one was monitoring it. This is a HUGE issue for safety and security. The CM's response was that it is a parent's responsibility to watch their own kids. Completely agree BUT please make it an option AND make it less stressful by having a CM guarding this door. I was seriously disappointed with this new feature. It is an awesome idea but I feel that it is lacking a bit; hopefully it changes in time.

Overall, it was another fantastic trip filled with some great new experiences!

Its always great to find something "new"... the more you go, the harder it is!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time! I cant wait to see all the new attractions next time.

Thanks
