OK, I was really worried about the dining options at this place. But, was really suprised that it was not as bad as I thought it would be. Before we went I checked the menu online and nothing looked appetizing. But really was ok and worth the money.

Hi! My family and I are trying to choose between the Princess Breakfast or Lunch. My family would rather go to the breakfast. I'm trying to convince them to try the lunch because it will be new and different. What did you eat? What princesses were there and how was the interaction? Thanks so much for the information! :goodvibes

We are also considering this meal and I would like to know this as well.

I think it is worth trying at least once. We were disappointed in the food but the princess interaction was nice and we got a lot of nice photos.

Like CRT breakfast, we won't be going back anytime soon.

there was Mulan, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Snow White and Mary Poppins and many more. IT was amazing.

I had the following:
Pasta Akershus
Pasta and sauteed garden vegetables
with a fresh herb roasted garlic pesto
(topped with grilled chicken)

My son had the following:
Soup and Sandwich
A Jarlsberg cheese and leek soup paired with pan-seared salmon
served open-faced on toasted multigrain bread,
lettuce, tomato and topped with a roasted garlic caper mayonnaise

and he really liked it (he is only 10).

The following were there on Tuesday February 7th for lunch;
Ariel, Jasmine, Alice, Alladin, and Sleeping Beauty

I just posted my review on this board for Akershus for day Three and it includes pictures though it was sooo good that I forgot to take many pictures. It is AMAZING. Some of the BEST food I have had in quite some time! We were there for lunch. The Princesses were Ariel, Aurora, Jasmine, Belle, and Aladdin. They were all great, spent a lot of time with the kids and were nice and chatty. Please do it, while some things might not sound good, they really are.

We had lunch there on Thursday, Feb 9th! We really enjoyed it. There was a bit of a wait because the computer was down (we think!) The character interaction was wonderful and not at all hurried. We saw Ariel (in her ballgown for pictures), Belle, Aurora, Jasmine and Aladdin. The girls really loved seeing Aladdin. I was a little worried about the food too, but we enjoyed it. The appetizer bar had lunch meat, cheeses, chicken salad & shrimp salad. I had the pan-fried trout and it was o.k. My husband had the soup and sandwich (mentioned above) and really loved it. My oldest DD (7) had the hot dog (sigh) and my other DD(4) had the ham & cheese roll-up with grapes. She really enjoyed this too. The dessert platter was so-so, but enjoyable. I think you will have a great time. I really enjoyed the family-style service. I get tired of the buffet character meals because it seems as if we are always getting up & down and worrying about missing the characters. Have fun!

thanks for the encouraging reviews! we are going for lunch in April and while the main focus is the princesses, we'd like to have enjoyable food as well.

I am glad we tried PSB for lunch, however we will not be going back. We just did not care for the food. In fact we had to feed DS in Mexico after the meal b/c he tried but did not like any of the food. Even my DD who enjoys a wide range of tastes did not like her pasta, but did eat the cold cuts from the cold buffet.

DD was very excited to meet Ariel in her wedding dress and also Mulan whom we've never seen before. We also had Belle but not in her yellow dress, just her everyday blue one. However we were surprised to find Alice in Wonderland as a princess.

We liked our server but overall we were not impressed and will not be going back.

We went for lunch and really liked it. I was a little worried about the food because I'd never had Norwegian before. It was really, really good! I'd eat there again anytime! Our server was fantastic and my daughters loved the princesses. The interaction with them was good. I think if you're willing to try new things you'll have a great time!

Thank you for all for the reviews! I think I'm going to try the lunch. The menu sounds very interesting and it's time to break free of the steak and potato obsession my family has!

MickeyMouseMommy, Are those your girls with Ariel? What a beautiful picture!!! I'm assuming that was from the lunch? The other picture of you and Mickey is priceless! :)

MickeyMouseMommy- the photos!!!
Glad to hear pos on Akershus-for toddlers, is lunch best menu?
