Just Back Dining Review 10-1/10-9

Just got the last bags emptied now the trip is really over but a quick review before I forget.

After checking in at POP went to EPCOT and went to Sunshine Season Food Fair for lunch. We had

Myself Ham and Salami Grinder
DW Turkey Munster Cheese Focaccia
The kids split 2 Turkey Munster Cheese Focaccia's
As a group we split
2 Strawberries and creams,1 side salad and a bag of pretzels
3 powerades and 1 milk
1 brownie,cheese danish,peanut butter cake,and a butterfinger cheesecake for dessert


The food here was great. The turkey was the best and next time I will pass on the ham and go for the turkey.

We used 4 CS for the whole crew. If it was OOP it would have been in the range of $50.

2 tye dye cheesecakes
1 20oz coke
3 chocolate milks

We used 4CS again and would have been around $50

Fried chicken was very good and plenty of food for everybody and even had some left over.

Oct 2 The day of FOOD

Breakfast Grand Floridian Cafe

DD10,DFriend and DD8 split Waffle and fruit and stuffed french toast
DS 4 and DD2 ate our eggs benedict

The food was good but service lacking.The waitress tried to charge 7 TS for the 4 entrees after I told her I would be paying for any extra drinks OOP.Took a little bit to get it corrected(30 minutes)

The kids split 2 Fried Chickens

To start we split Fried Cheese (awesome!!!),shrimp cocktail,Seafood dip and onion rings.

Dessert we split 2Dads Sundae,2S'mores.

Food and service was great didnt even have to pay for the little ones drinks even after offering to pay OOP .The adults did enjoy someadult beverages OOP . Before adult beverages total was $138.00


Late night went down to food court and got 2 orders of chicken fingers to split up. Chicken fingers are really good at POP.

Breakfast at CRT
Food was ok kids had a good time character interaction short what more can I say. Food really didn't stand out but this wasn't about the food but for the little 's and prince.

Chicken strips and pizza's and a babysitter!!!


The crowning moment Adult Dinner

Haven't read much about this one on the boards but We really enjoyed this one. First we were an hour late for our ADR but no problem enjoyed a drink on the deck and watched the Electric Water Pageant.

For starters
Calamari and the Crab Cakes. Both were to die for.

We both had the surf and turf.Mouth watering!
For dessert we had the Everest and fruit cobbler

We enjoyed the Narcaritas and when 1 round came on the house they were even better

Service was fantastic and words can't describe the food. Worth 2 TS credits each. If OOP it would have run $175.00 plus the adult beverages
Alot more than we would normally spend on ourselves and we will be back!

Dinner Ohana's
We enjoyed the new menu and had a great table in the corner with a great view of the castle.Just not overly impressed.Might go again might not. Service was good just didn't stand out overall.

The only kids meal we ordered was on the last day to use up remain credits. We split adult meals the rest of the trip. Our cards said 4 adults and 2 children for our crew and with the exception of the Grand Floridian Cafe never had a problem. In fact at the Prime Time Cafe the fried chicken was brought out on 4 plates with everything already split up for the kids.

To add to the extra magic with the exception of 1 TS dinner we never had to pay for any extra drinks' and with our DD2 being a chocolate milk monster on this trip it was great .

Now we are missing DD8 who had to fly home

Good food,lots of it, no lines and plenty of tables

Sticky Wings ( good, I almost lost my fingers reaching for one)
Pot Stickers (DD10 loved these as did I for the half that I got )

We really enjoyed this meal more than Ohana's.Service was great,food was great and was able to get our Lapu Lapu's.The night before at Ohana's they ran out.We will be back.

Dinner was very good and loved the pretzel bread.This was the only meal we had to pay for the chocolate milk.A good meal just still can't stand up to Narcoossee's filet.

Same things different day minor changes each day but basically the same,Waffles or Adult breakfast platters,breakfast wraps or pancakes.
It was all good and plenty of food 4 meals more than fed this crew and they can eat.

Snacks at MK

Dinner at Chef Mickey's
Food was good as usual and character interaction was great.DD2 went nuts over Minnie and DS4 loved Goofy.

Then off to MK for MNSSHP
