Three of us on DDP for 5 nights (OKW). Arrived on sunday 12/23 around 1pm and went to MK around 2:30pm. It was crowded because parade was approaching so we grabed a quick bite at taco place across from Pirates(DH got FP for he and DS for Space MTN). Tacos were kind of greasy, but fixin were good;DS got quesidilla and so we used 2 CS.
Had dinner 8:45pm adr at Tony's got there early and we were seated at 8:20pm. It was an unbelievable RUSH thru! We order apetizers(salad for DS, buternut squash soup for me..very yummy and DH had the tomato and mozzarella salad..also very good. but we were just starting on the bread and pesto they brought to the table with our drinks when the apps arrived. we had tag team CM(women and man) bringing each course. Main course for me was salmon..also very good, DH had steak..very good and DS had pasta with seafood and he did not really like it. As we were deciding about dessert female cm said "I don't want to rush you..but don't you want to see Wishes? It' really great..I'll get you dessert or you can take it with you." We did not want to be rushed so we got the trio dessert(tiramisu, cheesecake and cannoli) and she did the bill while we ate. We did get to see the fireworks, but really did not like being rushed..first time we have experienced this and we are vets(DVC members since 1994). Tiramisu was very good,,by the way.
Monday-had bagels in the room and then headed to Epcot around 1pm ...DS and I split cs meal in china of chicken(sweet and sour) with rice and ginger icecream to tide us over until dinner. Did most of WS while DS headed to Mission space and TT. We met up for dinner at 8pm at LeCellier. They were running late but we had a wonderful meal...no rushing. Great breadsticks! I had shrimp for app, DH had chicken sausage and DS had mussels all were fantastic! We all had steak, of course (DS DH both filet and me NY strip). They were cooked perfectly and I also got the creamed spinach (extra, not on DDP) which was wonderful also. I had creme brulee for dessert and DS had warm apple dessert..also very good. CM was from British Colombia and she was really very nice and engaging. Wonderful meal and we exited to the fantastic fireworks ending Illuminations.....by the way fro xmas eve, the crowds were very managable and we exited via IG as we had parked at BC.
To be continued.
