Just back!! Couldn't have asked for a better trip!

Just back and getting caught up from a completely magical mother/daughter trip with my thirteen-year-old. We were at the World from 10/17 thru 10/24. No rain, lots of sun, and welcomed warmth. We stayed at Pop, fourth floor, 70's section, and it seemed we were the only ones on that floor. We never saw or heard anyone else. The food court was wonderful, quick lines, good food. Never waited more than 15 minutes, and that was only once, for any ride or show in the parks. We got three wishes--a dream fast pass, the YOMD Tinkerbell pins and a picture finding certificate. We did the MNSSHP on 10/19, got tons of candy, no lines, total blast. Did the Haunted Hayride at Fort Wilderness, and I can't say how much fun this was. Really neat! On a scale of 1-10, my daughter gave our trip a 100, so I think that's great. )) Any questions, just ask! Going back in February, and I can't wait!

I'm glad you had such a wonderful trip. We were at WDW 10/20-10/24 for a short visit and also had a lovely time. DW is such a great destination for families. You make such wonderful memories there!

hi,sounds like you had a great time.
we got back on the 15th of this month from our trip which was brilliant!
unfortunately we have no plans yet for our next trip

There really isn't any better place to go for families, IMO. I forgot to mention that we had decorated our window for Halloween and one morning, when we got up, someone had stuck one of those witches that look like they've crashed into a wall on our door. It was too funny, and just a fun sprinkle of pixie dust for our trip. Just wonder if any DISer might be responsible for the magic??? I'm glad everyone else had fun trips. too.
