Check-in went smoothly. Apparently my room was preassigned, #244. It wasn't my favorite location, but not the worst either. Sadly, the gelato in the BC Marketplace seemed different this time, less rich and creamy. It was good, but more like an ice milk. Good flavor though-I think it was called strawberry mango. They had the movies on the beach every night, but I'm afraid I never got a schedule. Any questions, I'd be happy to try to answer.

Hi, did you use the BCV lobby checkin? We've had 246 twice and then the next one BR down that hall last trip. I've enjoyed the location. What didn't you like about it?

Too bad about your gelato. Maybe it was just that flavor?

We walked through BCV to get sandwiches for our flight home on 11/30 and thought the decorations were beautiful!

I kind of liked the location, I thought it was a pretty view, but for me the road noise was distracting. My favorite view is the full on woods views across the hall-that's my favorite. I had the eggnog gelato, which was OK, but maybe it was the flavor that made it not as creamy tasting. BTW, I was there 11/30, but I spent the entire day in Epcot. Oh, and one thing I noticed-you know how you can go to Epcot by walking out of BCV and taking a left to walk in back of BC? Well, they've made that little area a designated smoking area, which means that whenever you go that way, you may walk thru a cloud of smoke.

I've read that the rooms across the hall can't see Illuminations at all. Has that been your experience? We've faced those woods too and love that view as well but have been in the other long section in the main hall if YKWIM.

I know what you mean about that smoking area but it has been a smoking area (just not designated) for as long as I can remember. I just slowly exhale as I go by. Better there than closer to someone's villa or room I guess.:confused3 There did seem to be more people in that area than usual during our Oct stay.

Did you go to the CP? Our sons, DIL and I went on 11/29. DS2 and I hadn't been in 5 years and really wanted to see it. Now we're having fun listening to the CD as we drive around at home.:drive:

Yes, it is difficult, tho not impossible to see any of Illuminations from across the hall. The best Illuminations views I've found are from the little "jog" to the left of the main elevators (also woods view).

Yes, I saw the CP-I missed you by one day. I went 11/30 for all 3 shows (I guess you'd say I more than kind of like it). Then I got to see Neil Patrick Harris in a celebrity sighting. So-where do you go after reciting the Christmas story under hot lights 3 times? You head to Germany for a cold brew (actually, I wonder how many)!
