Had a great week! I owe much of our successful trip to the amazing advice I got from this these boards during the past year of planning.

Top Three Best Tips From This Board:

1) Rope-dropping
2) Booking our first three FPs for before lunch (essential for MK, not as critical for the other parks)
3) Mobile order

These three things alone saved us so much time and hassle.

We were able to get all our must-do's at MK done early which took the pressure off for the rest of the day. After that we fastpassed any line longer than 10 minutes and a got ton of additional attractions in. Mobile order still hasn't caught on with the masses and is an excellent way to "fastpass" your food!

- Excellent weather and crowds lower than predicted (all 3-5, when days were predicted at 5-7.)

- Touring Plans really came through for us on this trip. Plans kept us organized and focused (no "what do we do now?" conversations,) and the lines app helped us improvise any time we decided to deviate from the schedule.

- Typhoon Lagoon is the best waterpark we'd ever been to! Definitely worth spending a day at if you are a waterpark person. Great range of slides and typical high quality Disney theming.

- Disney Springs photopass studio is a hidden gem if you have Memory Maker. We got quite a few nice quality professional photos, some fun and some serious. If I'd known how nice they were going to be I would have had us dress up! The day we went no one else was there and they took us right in!

- We enjoyed the Star Wars Galactic Spectacular more than Happily Ever After.

- Boma breakfast was the best food I had all week.

Great trip! :thumbsup2 Thanks so much to all my fellow Disers for the excellent tips and advice. I can't wait to go back!

Glad to hear you had a wonderful trip!

Was happy to read your comment about enjoying Star Wars Galactic more than HEA. We are headed down next week and decided to sacrifice the full HEA experience in order to do HDDR. We may get to see some depending on when our boat arrives at MK but certainly won't be in the hub. However we did make our HS plans all around seeing Star Wars fireworks show. Did you see the Movie thing right before Star Wars starts? If so how did you like that?

I agree Boma breakfast is awesome. As is Typhoon Lagoon.

We loved the movie magic show as well! I think my son loved it just as much as the Star Wars show, particularly because it featured two of his favorite movies: Pirates of the Caribbean and the Jungle Book. pirate: Both shows were just very well put together, very cohesive, and the special effects blended really well with the rest of the show. The Chinese theater makes an excellent backdrop with its three square walls, allowing for large projections, whereas Cinderellas castle is more limited in the shapes and spaces that can be used. I found the Star Wars show to be very rousing! I'm sure it helped that I am a big Star Wars fan. :ewok:
