Just returned home from our whirlwind long weekend trip. I planned a surprise trip for my DH's graduation he had no idea we were going till he woke up Friday morning.

I will post a full trip report over the next few days but if anyone has any questions I'm happy to answer them!

and it was HOT HOT HOT! Record breaking heat for this time or year.

We were at TL on Saturday...and MK on Sunday...I thought I was going to absolutely melt into a pile of sweaty mush...and I'm a Florida native and lifelong resident!!!

I really don't know how you folks can stand to go to WDW in the summer time...

We are just back too. Wednesday it was chilly in the morning and evening (wore sweaters), but it definitely got as the week went on. We left on Sunday ngiht and were in the pool at 9am and it was hot, hot, hot! So glad to be in the pool. We go every year at this time and I thought the crowds were lighter this year than the past few years. Wednesday night we walked on most things at MK (including Splash, Big Thunder, Tomorrowland Speedway). Of course we are rope drop, leave in the middle of the day, go back at night people. So that may be part of it.

we were there also, arrived thurs and home mon. It was a warm one on sunday no doubt, but we were able to stay on inside rides during the worst part and had dinner at Boma and called it a night. Great trip and crowds weren't bad at all...IMHO

So I gather it was hot. BUT, how was the humidity? We leave in 2 days and it looks like it's still going to be really hot (bummer) but I can't get a feel for the humidity. Is it as bad as July??? Just trying to brace myself....

We were there from last Wed. until Monday. It was both hot and humid on Sat.-Mon. The other days weren't too bad. It wasn't too crowded Wed.-Fri. We thought Sat. and Sun. were crowded.

@cheesemouse BRACE yourself. It was very humid! Crowds were not too bad, not like Jan (when we usually go) but totally doable when using FP!

I checked the 10-day forecast and it looks like low to mid-80's and partly sunny all week!

Ariel and Pooh playground are closed. Everything else still open, but huge construction walls up all the way from Dumbo to Toontown. Peter Pan also getting some work done on the outside (ride is fine).

There were painted facades up on a few buildings on Main Street and Liberty Inn and Peter Pan. Also Exhibition Hall i believe where Mickey is moving too is under refirb. Just downloaded pics i'll post some today of the walls and refirbs.

I very well may just melt into a puddle then. I'm keeping my fingers crossed but am not very hopeful for decent weather. I really thought that going tomorrow would be better than last year when we went in July. Oh well, I guess next time we'll try.... March???...
