Just Back...any questions?

All the guidebooks say that this is low season (Thanksgiving-Christmas). How discouraging to hear that it was crowded!

For the past couple of years...when I lived in Orange...I thought Disneyland was super crowded most of the month of December.

I think if you talk to a number of people on this board that you will find that in the last 4 years or so what was considered a slower time may not be so anymore. There are times that may be slower than peak, days of the week, etc, and we all have our own impressions of what we think is slow.

for slow time you want the week after thanksgiving to the 1st or 2ed..this year the 1st was crouded becouse the candel light persasion but all week till friday (when rained on) most rides were walk on

We always go this time of year, and this time was the most crowded. Sunday was less crowded than Monday! Sunday morning we did every ride in FL (minus Snow White, Toadie and Pinochio) in an hour. I was also first in line to get my AP verified. Then we went to DCA and did a lot there with a lot of time to spare. We even went back to the hotel for about 2 1/2 hours for a nap. Then we did DCA again at night. We rode the monorail and Pirates that night at DL.

Monday we were first in line (as we were Sunday). We could hardly do anything in FL (I'm assuming because of EE).

Pirates, HM, Pirates Lair, Buzz, Splash, and Pooh were all short lines most of the day Sun and Mon. It was FL that was the problem, like always.

I am going to go a Wednesday in January and I am sure it will be better then. :)

We were there November 27th, 28th, and 30th and it was great...even with all the rain! I think the rain helped a bit with the Friday crowds.

We are here right now. When we first got there around 11:30, the lines to get into DL were SOOOO long! I was like OH MAN!!! But once we got in, I don't know where people went. We only waited about 40 minutes for Nemo and the rest of the rides were less than a 20 minute wait. However, getting out of DL after the fireworks was CRAZY!!! I am closterphobic (however you spell it) and I was starting to get a little paniky but I had called my mother to tell her about the snow and fireworks (ok, I'm 33 and still love to tell my mom something that excited me so much! She loves it!) and she calmed me down. Just had to put on my big girl panties and deal with it and not lose my DD10 & DD8 and my niece who is 4!! Luckily my 2 sisters were with me.
My point is that just because you see alot of crowds doesn't mean they are all waiting in line.

you know one reson we didnt go on nemo is it was closed on saterday dec 1st half the day i really did want to go but hay it will be there next time
