My DS6 and I just returned from a 13-day trip. We had the time of our lives. Any questions?

So glad you had a great time. What characters did you see? Was Clarice still out at MGM? How were the lines for EE. My DH and DS are looking forwarded to that ride.

Where did you stay?

We stayed off site (I know, I know - but that is how we could afford 13 days!). We stayed at the Quality Inn Main Gate West. Average hotel, great price, decent continental breakfast and very close to the parks via the "back entrance"

We had the time of our lives! It was his kindergarden graduation present and the trip was all about him! I did the same thing with my DD 2 years ago.

He is not scared by pirates. He went on the Albatross Pirate Cruise and had a great time! Pirates of the Carribean was not open when we were there.

We started the autograph thing on our trip last summer. I printed off a list of the characters so he could "track" which ones he has. He likes to get the autographs but is a bit picky to get only ones he does not have (unless it is a short line, then he get it again!)

We did not see Clarice - shucks! Let me think who we saw: Max (Goofy's son - new for me), Mr & Mrs Incredible, Frozone, Lightening McQueen and Mater, Mickey, Minne, Chip & Dale, Goofy, Donald, Buzz, Mary Poppins, Pocohantas, Stanley, Stitch, Lilo, Kim Possible, Ron Stopable, Mike Mikowski, Alice and Mad Hatter, Eeyore, Piglet, Pooh, Tigger, Flick

There are more but I cannot think of them. I'll ask DS and post more later!

Glad you had a great trip!!

DS and I loved EE! It was great! Line was do-able via fast pass. We did stand in the 40 minute wait our last day. DS wanted to ride and Fastpass time was for 3:30 - too late for us! EE is worth the wait! We ended up riding it 3 times over the course of our trip!

DS still will not ride Rock n Roller Coaster or TOT I love those rides, too. But not this trip! Buzz was another kid favorite!

DS loves SciFi at MGM. We ate there 2 times. I also enjoyed Crystal Palace and ALL of EPCOT! I think I had at least one smaple of something from each country (over 2 days, though!)

We tried Whispering Canyon again to see if it was better than last time. We will not be going back.

Glad to hear you had so much fun! I hope my ds5 will be tall enough for EE next time. I love that ride. He's only 42"...so he has to stick to the small stuff. He's a tiny thing ... only 34 lbs I was going to try Whispering Canyon but we really enjoyed so many others. I don't think there were any we really didn't like. Maybe next time he'll be ready for RNR or TOT
