Just back, any questions????

We arrived home last night from 9 days at WDW. Any questiuons I'd be happy to answer.

When we left it was hot, hot hot!!!
The begining of the week was beautiful, in the 80's, now it is in the 90's and just too hot for us.

We went to MGM, MK, and Epcot. We didn't use any early magic hours, but took advantage of the night ones. we bought AP's so we would go back and forth to the parks whenever we wanted, which was so great!

It was crowded, but not too bad, as the week went on it got busier. MK was always the most crowded. Alot of times we were lucky and were able to get on most rides with a 5/10/ or 20 minute wait.
We are use to going in Nov so we are really spoiled by the lack of crowds and great weather. It was crowded at all the parks, meaning there was alot of people but the lines weren't that bad. The longets wait time I saw the whole time was 60 min. and that was for things like Soarin, and Peter pan. We did ride Soarin and utilized the parent swap which is great!! DD(8) says that Soarin is her new favorite ride!! She rode it 3 times!! It really is great!

Where did you stay and was it just as crowded at night when you took advantage of the extra park hours??

Did you go to any of the water parks?

We are DVC'ers so we stayed 8 nights at the BW and 1 night at SSR(we couldn't get that last night at the BW)
We didn't do the water parks.
MK was just as crowded during normal hours as the night time extended hours. The others, Epcot and MGM extra night hours were great! We did everything we wanted and it really was mostly all walk ons except soarin. Which luckily was only a 30 min wait and we did the child swap. Later in the evening it did get to 60mins. But we found the times that were posted, most of the time were alot shorter. On alot of things the wait would state 20 mins, when it was really only about 10.
I didn't notice any donald chair at the HM and we rode it at least 6 times!!!LOL

We are sad to be back home but we will be back to WDW in Nov so it's all good!!!

If there is 1 piece of advice I could give it would be to make those ADR's!!! In the summer especially, and especially if you have a large party!! Most places were booked. But, do take a chance and walk up, you might get lucky. We did at Tony's!!

I don't know if this would apply to you, but you or anyone in your family has allergies, how were they in WDW? My allergies are acting up really bad now (but I'm in PA), and we'll be going to WDW in June, but for now, how were they? Thanks!

I am an allergy sufferer!! I had them bad when we left. I was fine with no allergy problems while in Fl. As soon as I got in the NY air, they were back!! I'm dying right now!

Did you do Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique? I am trying to find out how much time to allow. We want to do that before our Cinderella Gala Feast.

Yes, DD did BBB. We had ressies for 2:10 on a Sun. When we checked in we were told it would be a wait of 15 mins. It was about that and they had given us a beeeper. They were taking walkups with a 30 min wait. They said it would take 20 mins to do the hair and stuff and it was about that long. DD had her hair, nails, and makeup done. It was great and we would do it again!
