Just back- ANOTHER perfect trip!

just got back today from yet another perfect trip!!

we stayed one night at disney - mistake- and stayed two nights at PB.

we had the PB suite- rooms 3135 and 3137 - ground floor right by the boat

dock in the West wing. Crowds were not bad at all and the weather was

perfect. We ate at Trattoria and Sals and there were as great as usual. We

did the buffet at Latin Quarter and it was fantastic! My son ate his weight in

beef! We hit it on a great night right when it opened- had a great waitress,

very nice and very beautiful. The meats never stopped coming and the salad

bar was great also- they brought a basket of cheese biscuits that were to die

for!

We spent most of our time at IOA this trip. My son did multiple trips on Cat

in the Hat again- the staff here are FANTASTIC- can't say enough nice things

about them! We also did Spiderman multiple times- love it!! My son took

his first ride on Popeye and loved it! Wanted to go right back on it!

Had lunch at Blondies and really enjoyed it.

Loved riding the boats between the park and resort- captains are so much

fun! Kenny was especially nice to our son.

Any questions - be glad to answer- I noticed they have a new manager at

PB now. Things are still running great there. Emi checked us in and she was

wonderful!

Loved it so much we already have our Thanksgiving reservations

On a side note - i made a mental note to look at the paint job at

seuss landing and it looked great to me. I also noticed painters at

toon lagoon doing touch-up painting.

can't wait to go back!!!

That's great to hear. I hadn't noticed any fading of paint either but you never know.

it sounds like your son feels right at home when you go and stay onsite.
that is best part of your trips, hearing how happy he is at universal.

I am just SOO glad we found some place that David feels completely at

home and loves so much. His day to day life is so hard it helps to have

something to spoil him with!

We leave Monday for Atlanta -yuckly stuff- spinal tap, biopsy etc... so I am

glad we have Thanksgiving and MAW trip to look forward to! I will try to

slow down enough to call before we leave

wanted to tell everyone we made it back from Atlanta - still waiting on test

results. Our son picked up a super-bug while there and we had to skip our

Thanksgiving trip I got it from him and just got over it.

We leave this Saturday for our "make a wish" trip!!!

David is beyond excited! Will let you know how it goes!

Hey I know how you feel about US....my son and I have been back for just over a week and we miss it so much. We would live there as well if we could.
Don't know what it is about that place that makes us feel that way. Guess it's just magical for us,lol....makes you forget about life's little problems for a few days.

we got back today from our Make a Wish trip- we had to cut it a few days

short (my husband's sister died last night) what time we did have - our son

enjoyed very much! once things settle down here i will try and do a trip report.

Universal is incredible during the holidays - Grinchmas and Macy's parade are

NOT to be missed.

just wanted everyone to know we returned from part 2 of our Make a Wish trip!

It was cut short due to death in the family but PB let us come back and finish

the trip. Our son had the most incredible time ever. After Grinchmas he got to

do a private meet with everyone and get pictures. This was the most incredible

show EVER!! We saw it multiple times and I can not say enough about it! If you

have a chance to see it - GO!!!!!

Macy's parade was also incredible- did it every night! My son especially loved

the candy cane girls and Santa's helpers.

Everyone was over the top nice to our son and I just want to thank everyone

for making it an unforgettable trip for him!

We were given the Hospitality suite for our stay- ground floor - rooms 2324

and 2325- beautiful suite!! I took lots of pictures- when I figure out how to

post them I will do a separate trip report and post them.

We had such a great time I have booked a surprise Christmas trip for our son!

Haven't told him yet but we leave Dec. 24th for a 2 night stay!!!!

staff at pbh are so helpful and willing to assist the guests for making it a sweet stay.

dismom, i'm happy for you and your family the MAW trip finally ended with a smile.
