I stayed in POFQ in late Sept (during Hurricane Jeanne) and loved it too! The resort is small and everything is within a short walk away. We stayed in bdlg 5 and had a beautiful courtyard view with some water view as well. The pool was just a short walk down the stairs.
The food court was decent and the prices are reasonable (for Disney of course).
I loved the fact that the buses stop at POFQ first. Even though we stayed in low season, there were times where the people boarding from POR had to stand while all of us from POFQ had seats. I can't even imagine how it would be during the high season. The poor guests from POR probably can never find seats!
The shelves above the sinks should be enough for all the toiletries, but if you need more room, there is a shelf above the closet right next to the sinks. I followed the advice of DISers in the budget board and brought one of those over-the-door canvas shoe holders to store the toiletries and hung it right on the shelf next to the sinks. Everything was neatly stored.
There is a hair dryer and coffee maker. Our room didn't have a refrigerator and when we asked they said they would charge us $10/day so we kept everything in the collapsible coolers we brought.
