We found nearly everything to be at least good to very good on our trip. We really liked the Crystal Palace, it was our favorite dinner.
There was one place that I would highly recommend you avoid.
I have spent several years as a kitchen manager, and I know that any place can have an off night. This was more than an off night. The menu at Captain Jack's at Downtown Disney is designed completely to be easy to 'prepare', and not for flavor what-so-ever. Please avoid wasting money/dining plan credits there. Everything was pre-packaged and put on a plate. I was embarrassed for whoever decided this was an acceptable practice. Our bill for 2 adults and 1 child was $75 for an entree, a chicken Ceaser, a kid's meal, one alcoholic beverage and one desert. None of the items should have sniffed a restaurant this expensive. I literally felt like they pulled everything out of a vending machine and threw it on our plates. (At least they microwaved my wife's meat in her pasta. Wish they would have heated up the 'grilled' chicken in my salad.)
