First, let me say Thanks to anyone who posts on here the yummy reviews! We tried many places that were suggested.
O'hanas
LE Celliur
Nine Dragons
We ate turkey legs, dole whips, and cinnamon roasted pecans!!
Let me start by saying we loved O'hanas, they put us in a window
seat and we faced the castle!! The food was plentiful and delicious, although we arrived at 5 pm for our PS. I think the earlier the better for less dried out meats. The sauces and appetizers were very good. I loved the salad.
LE Celliur, our waiter reccommended the New York Strip and it was out of this world. Even better than we had at Yatchman's last trip!! We will be going back here for sure! OH, the cheese soup and pretzel bread were both wonderful, be sure to ask for extra bread, however.- It goes quick.
Nine Dragons- we have always loved chinese food and this was great! We had both soups and Moo Goo Gai Pan for our meal, we split it at lunch and it was more than enough for us. It was so good tasting.
We almost didnt try the turkey legs, but oh I am so glad we did they were yummy!! My 10 yr. old wanted her own becuase she loved it so much.
The dole whips are a little different than I had thought , it was pineapple icecream (soft serve) on top of pineapple juice. I would have liked it blended better, but the icecream was just the right amount of taste, not over bearing. and it was very good on the really hot days we had!!
The roasted pecans were gone in about 2 minutes! they were that good. We found them at Epcot in two locations, but the one near the American area was the only one open the Saturday we went. These are worth the walk, however.
OH yeah, we did eat at the Rainforest Cafe at Ak too. It was very good and cool (as in tempature) so if you are hot I recommend trying this place. It is very big inside and can seat many many people. We didnt even have a PS and got right in.
thanks
